A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often much better than a master of one! Nice job and what a smart solution for remaking the rollers for the pop top. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sebastian my Hungarian friend🇭🇺, Nice to be seeing you back on the Camper👍🏻, Wow you have accomplished great work with the new construction of the Camper👏🏻 all respect my friend 🙏🏻I do wish you many years of joyful traveling with your camper, it has been a pleasure following you on this project. with best wishes and greetings see you at your next project, Greetings Hubertus🇳🇴🇳🇱🙏🏻☮🍀
Seeing more videos on this project is really good. It's really coming together nicely so far. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
sebastian du bist der beste handwerker🤗 du macht jeden schritt mit viel cleveren entscheidungen. eine sehr saubere arbeit👍👍👍 danke fürs zeigen liebe grüsse lukas
Just Awesome Seb , your nearly there , you should be extremely proud of what you have done with this camper Rebuild , can’t wait to see it finds it’s home on the back of the truck 🛻🙏 god bless my friend
By far my favorite project on youtube! I appreciate your attention to detail and it's obvious that you have hundreds of hours of research into this. I always look forward to the next one. Honestly, I'm going to be disappointed when you're finished, but I'm sure you won't!!
Looking forward to seeing everything back together eventually. I think most of your other windows screw into the body if I am correct. Watching you run the screwdriver under the rubber of the roof windows made me cringe. When I was a motor mechanic many years ago before bonded windscreens were the norm; we ran light gauge cable through the rubber lubricated with liquid soap. One guy on the outside pushed on the rubber while the guy inside pulled the cable which made the rubber fold over the bodywork. Safe for the paintwork. The Saab 99 & 900 had a very curved front windscreen and were difficult to fit. This method helped prevent breakage too.
I think the problem with the sealant you can't get here is probably due to EU ROHS regulations. But I think you should be able to find replacement stuff that are ROHS compliant and legal. You can ask in a local home improvement store for the strongest sealant for a pop-out roof.
So excited for you to be making serious headway the past two weeks (or before when you include editing and posting the vids). I’ve been following this build closely since I got a class B around the time you started and can’t wait to see how yours turns out and how much you like camping in it! Keep up the great work!
@@Ollaris oh for sure…it’ll make all this labor of love (and challenges and delays) seem like a distant memory as you make new memories on the road and out in nature!
Great build! Love how you re-engineered problem area's. I've been designing a pop-up foamie on this same design. You gave me some great ideas. How is the top locked in the down position? Or did I mis that in your videos? Thanks for any input.
Thank you very much! There are latches that lock the fold down side pieces to the rails where the hinges are mounted on. I still have to mount them. I will show it in my next (and probably last) video in this series.
@@Ollaris Thanks for reply. Look forward to next video. Thought of pop up camper latches, or similar to jeep engine hood rubber hold downs, but didn't want to have to use ladder to get to them on roof. Again great job on complete overhaul, I've watched all video's a couple of times.👍✌️

Thank you! I’m excited as well!
Terrific work & I don't think that the roof will develop a leak any time soon! 👍👍
Thanks Steve! I hope!
Yeah brother! Flexing the skills, getting it done!
btw at 15:05 we call that a gasket, in the US, but you're clear enough
Thanks!
Underrated channel

I really appreciate that man! Honestly i wasn’t mad if I had been done a year ago! 😅
What a craftsman! It’s looking fantastic. Can’t wait to see it remounted 🔨🪚⭐️
Thanks a lot! Coming soon!
Well done! Pleasure to watch!!
Thanks!
Looking good, Sebastian!
Thank you!
Excellent, as always, thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Thanks for watching!
Amazing work, Sebastian! It's looking freaking great! 😃

Thanks! Yes that’s how we did it on cars too. I just put the pic in to get out the last little part out.
Love your work 👍

Thanks for your input! That’s probably right! Had no luck finding an answer yet. They all just recommend MS polymer.
@@Ollaris You are welcome! I hope you can find a strong enough MS Polymer for your needs here. Greetings from the Ruhrgebiet, Germany!
Looking superb. Have you weighed the build to see how you are tracking?
Thanks! Not yet. I hope to get it weight after I can put it on the truck.
Saludos Bro 😃
You should be able to find a self levelling version of Sikka Flex in Europe
I’ve searched everywhere, couldn’t find anything. I found some in the US but no luck in Europe.
I enjoy seeing the way you overcome obstacles when working a project. It's going to be great when you're done with it.
Thanks a lot! I hope so!
Your attention to detail is admirable. It's looking absolutely fantastic, Sebastian! Can't wait to see your first camping trip with it. :)
Thanks Drew! I appreciate you!
Your skills and knowledge are amazing.
You are the best.
Great video. Excellent fabrication skills. One step at a time. Mahalo for sharing! 🙂🙏🐒
Thanks Gary!
Excellent work and foresight. I won't even guess at how much time you spent in the clean up of the fiberglass work.
Thanks! Still dealing with it!!! 😅
Great achievement. There’s a lot of effort gone into working out all those seals
Thanks a lot!
Perfection 😊 it's great to watch your job!

Is this glue UV resistant?
Yes it is. Specifically made for outdoor applications on campers and motor homes.
