Meaning black bear is kinda easier to scare with some loud noises, brown bear might go right pass you if you feign death, and white bear, since in his case getting meat could be the only good thing that happens to him in a week or two (or more), will never give up a chance for a meal.

Minnesota does not have grizzly bears. I guess it's possible that a handful could be near the Canadian border, but it's mostly just black bear.
As a Brainerd resident, I can confirm there are chonky black bears galore.
For those wondering. 8 hrs a day for 19 years assuming only 265 days a year were played (2 days off for 52 weeks) thats still 40,280 hrs.

Most deadly Animal in Swiss are Tick's. ^^ And there are no strats against a Polar Bear, it eats only Meat, so it is a fully grow Predator not like Grizzlys. You Pray, thats the only thing to do....
Agree the 50s feels way faster then the 40s. There is soo much traveling between 40 and 45, way more then usual. I noticed the same. I think Blizzard didnt wanted the Mount to feel overpowered at the start or something. And 5 days to 55 is very decent. Took me just about 1 week with all HC chars to reach 60.
Grizzlies, same as Kodiak bears are both brown bears. Brown bear is the species, the other two being subspecies of the brown bear.
Personally, I'd rather meet a grizzly bc they don't necessarily want to eat you. Polar bears? They hungry and you food.

The no helping thing was more of a thing on unofficial hc servers since it was part of the rules.
Green quests give the same XP. just remain green for 6 lvls. Some quests are mismarked as 1 level lower than they are. making them appear as 7 lvls lower and still green. Less xp per mob but at least you're alive
Polar bears only eat meat grizzly is an omnivore if grizzly smells you they will most likely go the other way polar bears will actively hunt you there is no strat its like trying to 1v1 Rag at lvl 4
