Last year in September I bought a base line brand new in the box M1 Mac Mini for the equivalent of $331. It's probably the best value item I have ever bought.
I purchased the M1 Air 5 shortly after the new M2 Air was released, and got it at a terrific price. It's an excellent device.

I think Apple are being incredibly slow in their release of apple intelligence. It is a bit frustrating. Especially knowing they are releasing better photo editing processes. Great video Buddy. Love your channel.
They probably want to get it as fast and smooth as possible.
Given what I've seen from copilots early days, apple is welcome to take their time. Did you see the horrific nightmares and inaccuracies of early ChatGPT-4 a few years back lol? If apple really plans on using chat gpt-4o and make it multi modal within their ecosystem, it would be incredible.
Even if not, I'll remain patiently waiting for that day.

What are you talking about? The beta? If that’s the case, why are you even complaining?
That is the price but the Mac Mini is missing the peripherals so that is not is the final price. Plus you don’t need high end peripherals for the Mac Mini depending on what are you doing with it. It base on each case scenario.
When it's finally released, I'll be getting the M4 Mac mini

personally i think using the iPad pro with the m1 chip is better it has face id and everything it's fast enough and also you can use it as a screen paired with the m1 mac mini that's kinda all you need
Only my 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro supports it, but that’s fine. And I’m glad it’s the one, because I want to keep using a few more years. I don’t really care if my iPhone SE3 supports it. iPad is likely to be what I upgrade to support Apple AI, but probably not until 2025, when current (or older) supported Air or Pro models get cheaper. M2 iPad Air likely choice.

I've already got the m2 macbook air, m2 ipad pro and I'm looking to upgrade my iPhone 14 to the 16 Pro, so I'm ready for the AI even though I don't think its important.
Gary I would love to hear your thoughts on if a person can only afford one device (say up to $1000) that supports Apple Intelligence should they focus on a iPhone or a Mac? Put another way how will AI (likely) be more useful for the average person, mobile and always with you or aiding a higher level computing?
I just bought a M1 Mini with 16 GB of RAM off eBay for $175! My plan is to use as a hold over (to replace my 2018 Mini) until the Mini gets the M4.
I have a 2015 MacBook Air and phone 14 and a ten gen iPad. I’m so ready for a feature I don’t really want or see myself use. I’m gonna wait till it’s all mainline then I guess I’ll have the option. Though I can update my phone yearly that’ll be the first to get AI for me I guess.
I’m probably going to be buying a new iPad Air or a new 11-inch iPad Pro M4 (256 gb). But we’ll see. The renewed ones have great prices. Sadly I don’t live in the US and shipping an iPad Air renewed for example maybe close to the price of a new iPad Pro M4 base model. I will keep looking for deals! Maybe there is a way! Thanks for this video. Always watching your cheapest and/or best Apple ecosystem videos.

Im on an iPhone 14 Pro Max...definitely not upgrading to an iPhone 16 for Apple intelligence ....I have a MacBook Pro M3 Max and Im not really excited about having Apple intelligence on that either tbh
My Apple AI is telling me to use the $1600 to buy Apple stocks instead of the minimal ecosystem if everyone else need to buy M series devices 😀.

Ip 16 plus, Ipad Air M2. No Max! Waste money! M1 ipad air waste money, front camera stupid placement, ipad 10 better. Ipad Pro waste money! Ipad Air M2 can do all. Trade old get new. Don’t keep unused items! Battery life important 60hz ENOUGH!!! Mac mini? Buy windows Mini PC with add ram, and 2k 100hz monitor or external monitor are better. Even cheaper below 400usd compare to mac mini.
I have yet to find out what AI is good for. I could tell you horror stories about relying on ChatGPT; it's ripe with crap and bulls%^&*.. Siri has always been, is, and continues to be, a complete joke that can't sort out the simplest of instructions or requests. So... NO. NOT ON YOUR LIFE. I sure will NOT be buying a new phone that costs twice what a Mac Mini costs, while simultaneously delivering a tiny fraction of the capability. I will NOT be downgrading my 2017 10.5" iPad Pro to an M1 iPad Air that has 2 fewer speakers, half the display refresh and half the I/O speed.
