phone addiction is really real and even more real during quarantine. i uninstalled all social media except the messaging apps. and started focusing on my hobbies and work. it really reduces screen time and helps with notification anxiety
I am so glad I found this channel! I recently quit social media except RUclips which is crazy since my business has been built with social media but life had been so good without social media and being glued to my phone all the time.
The whole concept of “balance” was exactly what I agree with and what I actually communicate to my friends who sometimes let social media consume too much of their aspects on life. Feeling validated by number of likes or comparison against others is definitely not the healthy part of social media. But there is beauty to social media platforms. It opens up doors for people to share and learn. I’m definitely trying to find that balance as a new RUclipsr. This video was awesome!
@@karimovnematullo4011 I only need a camera in order to film for example my progress at calisthenics skills, and for that I can simply borrow my brother's phone. Of course there's the disadvantage of not being able to always take a photo, but you get used to that. In some situations you can also ask your friend to take a photo and send it to you, and when it comes to being alone, I personally learned to enjoy a beautiful view more than ever. And yes, of course I also don't have any social media to share pictures anymore, even though I really do care about what I'm wearing for example. So for me, it's not that important :)
I subbed. I especially like the part where you said being thankful that you even woke up. Many of us take that for granted. I will certainly try to implement the actions that you have have done in the video.
This is the video that broke the camels back. I have a horrible phone addiction averaging 70h a week screen time because I don’t have a regular office job to keep me offline. I will cut it down to 30 minutes and not a second more. I have to do it for my future. Thank you.
Since I’m at home, after 2 weeks of addiction, I decided to stop my instagram page and even delete it, so no instagram and I don’t have Facebook , no tweeter no snapchat no social media anymore in my life and honestly I really feel confortable and very happy, I decided to buy math books and start review my math to keep my self active and prepare my self to university
I'm honestly surprised you don't have a BUNCH more subscribers. Your videos are awesome and super inspiring! I definitely need to get my phone usage in check lol
my battery phone died (exploited) so I'm doing digital minimalism obligatorily, but since that "tragedy" happen I realized how much my phone control me so since I'm without it my habits are improving. My sleep schedule is better, I'm reading more, I don't get so anxious for social media, I'm exercise and I'm trying meditating and I feel good. The next week my new phone arrives so I hope I can continue with this new attitude ☺️
I loved this video but... How do you manage time shortening on social media if you use, for example, WhatsApp for work? I would love to stick my eyes out of my phone but what if there's something urgent regarding my job? I think I'm not alone in this. Am I?
You get paid for every hour you’re at work. If you’re answering messages and not getting paid you’re working for free. Turn off notifications when you get home and if your boss doesn’t like it then find a better job. You must disconnect.
Don’t put you laptop right on your body like that, read about the dangers of emf radiation. You’ll probably find it says in your phone manual to keep it at least 2 inches away from your body

Good for u... I only do the same time on my phone. Never watch news and take my phone but it doesn’t control me. So u can do it
Thank you! yeah its crazy how easy some things can be controlling.
Such an aesthetically pleasing video 😊 I deleted Facebook and it was the best technology-based decision I’ve ever made!
