I rushed Sigma Chi in Fall 1995. A bunch of tools so I left and joined another fraternity that won Homecoming 3 times in my 4 years at UCF.

I wouldnt mind joining a frat when i go to UCF but i feel like id never fit in im not buff like these guys i dont have a brand new car or anything like that i get nervous around girls and im too focused on studying, listening to music, or playing video games so its like watching these id feel so out of place
I know this comment is a year late, but You just have to find the fraternity that has its priorities set on academics more than partying. I’ve talked to a lot of different fraternities and most of them say that they’re looking for a diverse group of guys to join ( not just the party frat Dude we see on tv/media) like scholars,athletes,gentlemen etc. it just based on which fits u

I'm from Germany so for me this is all a different world, too. We don't have fraternities and sororities we only have apartments and shared flats. These frat videos are all very chavvy with the cars and the girls in the background but that's funny. It doesn't look like that where I studied.
