For the v16, the 18k hp was done prenerf of the wall bang exploit (if I remember correctly). Basically, when the boost line in the turbo graph would hit the right wall and just go straight up.

What I really liked was trying to distinguish what would be like it's real-life counterpart: the V10 sounding like a F1 car and the boxer 6 sounding like a 1980's porsche racecar for instance
"most powerful engine" builds are very short lived as they're usually broken by the next update, ask me how I know. So if you can't get this to work that's why, just build the best you can and don't worry about what others do.
The boxer 4 is a little bit more powerful than inline 4 at the same displacement, inline 6, then boxer 6, then V6 in terms of best horsepower per litre with 6 cylinders, V12 is a disappointment in terms of total power, less than all other engines in this video. I would like to see a boxer 8 and a flat 12 added because there were real engines in this configuration, even though very rare. Again, added the posibility for a supercharger or even twin charging to remove some of the heat from the exhaust. The game can be improved a lot, but it's lots of fun.
V12 not working?? I get 9,888.9 hp and 5,969.6 lb-ft of torque before the engine explodes at 8700RPM because the pistons and Conrad’s basically don’t want to live anymore.

I wont say the layout or piston count incase when I find a luige to race it, my competition reads this. now, Im pushing 22 PSI if I remember right, I diled back the turbine and compresser tuning the AR along the way, it spools before 2000 RPM peak TQ about 900FT/LBS @ about 3200 but runs up to 4000 losing only 8 before going into its down curve but by 4k in around 400 ish HP and almost hits 0 at 9500, if I rais my RPM limmit by one click, 100, Ukk have valve float and we know the next 200 RPM lol. the HP, like I said 400ish @ 4k where the TQ starts comming down crosses the TQ line at about 5000-5250 aria, 670 @ 5600ish drops to 660ish buy 5800 but stays there till 7500ish RP, if I didnt have my valve springs set to blow just after the limmit, so it dosnt drop off, HP would leave the chart at around 400 still. 1st gear can do 95mph and get there in a dig in around 1-2 seconds, I havent used an UI to test it. 7th runs out high, the longest streach I have hit I am fighting drag more than gear at 200mph but aroung 7000RPM theres a lot of gear left to run... now if you used the numbers I gave and draw a rough dyno line with it, you will you can shift down into a hair pinup a couple gears for a more gental power on, shift up again 1 or two, as long as your over 2k rpm 50% throtle and a count to 3 and you ay 7k, in you sis as I described you left the hairpin in 5th so 160ish? MPH Anyways, you! yeah you, the 1 in 20 thats still reading cuz that intrested you, if you have any line on lueages or even just servers where people are racing there automatio nmade cars, preferably in BeamMP, please drop a comment and Ill check it out, or even add you on FB, or even if yout like "I wanna talk to another gamer thats this into design and drive. lol

Automation has huge changes to its engine simulation, causing the issues. I have had whole cars quit working completely due to this. Thanks for asking a dumb question.
W engines like a W10 or W16 could be cool too. If they can make a VR engine a W engine should be possible. Rotaries and two strokes could be fun to play with too.

But my off course the bigger engine must be accelerate too.. Wana power? Take lithium drone battery. (Ovonic 120c or tatu rline ) drone 500g in fly battery 200g. Drone power output :1.8kw ... Let say same for car . That 4.8hp per kg of car... 1000kg car 4800ho power. Done liquider fuel engine behind...
Well I like to dump as much fuel as I can into the engine when tuning and so far I havent made a nitromethane engine that works using this strategy. I only tune using normal unleaded fuel and methanol since those don't break themselves in the game. I'll try nitromethane engines again but I will have to start with the leanest fuel amount so that it doesn't immediately explode

Loved the video, the montage of all the engines revving at the end was a symphony to behold.

2000+ hp out of 2.2 liter? doesnt a engine like that do hydrolock? you can boost it but at a certain presure melange goes back to liquid form XD
their is an actual drag car that uses a 2.2 ecotec engine that make 1800hp to the wheels so maybe it is possible w/o hydrolcoking
