Because the reason she lost it was a lien put on her house for non payment of a service. That's the law. If someone does work for you on your house and you don't pay the full amount, the law states that they can take your house.
but he never did the work! go bqck to the investigation. it was fruad. same way someone say they gonna use your credit card and dobt do right by usage...banks doesnt make you pay. so evey transaction after the orginial fraud act should not count. the issue is the bank lending was in on the the scam as well!@seankimberley9671

Just like when you go to jail, and you have to and wait to go to trial, you have right to 72 hour speedy trial, but they don't even honor that. Irregardless, that's that lady's house, whoever just hopped, needs to get from the criminal. That's on them.

This criminal needs to be placed in jail for at least ten years. Unfortunately, the justice system seems to favor probation/forgiveness rather than prison time for criminals.

Who is her mortgage company? I gladly call him up and let them know that they need to let her back in her home. It was stolen from her. She should not have to pay to get it back or at least the only thing she should have to do is go back to where it was before the other guy stole it from her.

The lender should be told "sorry, you are the victim of fraud and you should have verified the man's credentials and bank statements." The lady gets to keep her home. The lender can sue the fraudster.

I saw the other episode where it talked about prior selling the house to a friend for 50,000 will then sold it right back to him. Sounds like this guy had no money and no actual dollars change hands. Then Pryor took out a loan for $265,000 on the property and never made a payment. This was a scam from the word go.
Whatever happened to unjust enrichment? Fruit of the poisonous tree? Fraud? I mean - all of these things require that she get her house back, and that the mortgage lender go after Pryor not the woman who was defrauded. Geez.
