Man, I've only just discovered this band. They really know how to groove and set the mood. That little back and forth with the whistles at the start just make you feel all nostalgic, like your mucking around with your friends! FANTASTIC
I absolutely love these guys, truly amazing, what happened to them? They were so happy and childlike during their 2008, 2009, and 2010. However, after that look like death warmed over, no more smiling or joy in their performances.
I have a feeling Alex is a difficult person to work with. Just judging by interviews, he seemed talented, but pretentious and a little narcissistic maybe. With that said, Jade must have had her own issues since the entire band wanted her gone. She seemed to be over it at the end though, her performances seemed dead.
@Sophie , I read she had a drug addiction problem. The same thing for Alex. Can you imagine how the band couldn't say anything about it. I saw her in an updated performance. She had gained a great deal of weight.

i don't think they're dating. they broke up before he formed the band. he just liked her voice and asked her to be in the band...or so i've read/thought. in any case, the song is beautiful for people who are in love and everyone else can just appreciate it for what it is. good music
I've rolled while listening to amazing live jam music, and I can (and have) listened to that same music sober and danced just as freely. (of course I'm not trying to imply anyone in the band is on X or whatever in this video, I'm just saying my perspective). I would so dance to this song sober (oh wait i am while listening to this youtube clip. go me)
I dont think they're tripping, just really interesting and fun people. I hadnt listened to much of this group, but after seeing this, definitely going to check them out at Snowball in Vail in March
she looks nothing like I expected. I actually expected her to look more like the blonde girl. I love the way they are sloppy in this live version, but it's still good, feels real, like traveling folk singers having a good time. It's great watching people enjoy themselves while performing. also 3:57 magnum, you're welcome.
It's so sad to hear this in 2021, knowing so much has changed for the band.
