This is one of their songs that always brings tears to my eyes; it pierces my core like a 2 edged sword. Opeth is dark, deep, eerie, atmospheric, lovely, emotional... and that's why I love them.

It's obviously taken me a while to get around to this one and normally I wouldn't comment this late, but because of what you shared I just wanted to say something. Sometimes relationships (not necessarily romantic) work for a while but then you find yourselves in a different place, and the best thing to do is to appreciate what was but don't try to desperately hold on to something that isn't there any more. The fact that you have done that, no matter how painful, is hopeful. Missing out on time with your children is hard, and there's no way round that (I had a year when I couldn't make long-term memories and I really resent that gap), but treasure the time you do get with them. A friend of ours was blocked by the courts from seeing his kids for years, but as soon as they were old enough they got in contact and he now has a good relationship with them. So even that wasn't the end. Sending warm thoughts!

Im starting to see why you love this band so much. I kinda got lost in this and his voice is like so angelic when he sings softly like that. And the music is gorgeous.

What a beautifully tragic video to go with an incredible song. I haven't dove too much into Opeth, but I definitely need to.
I'm not surprised you are a hopeless romantic. And, I'm sure you'll find your forever person one day. Hopefully it won't take too long for them to show up, but I'm confident it will happen.

Fear Factory's 1995's Demanufacture is what got me to finally accept/love the growl vocals.....but I can 100% see how Opeth could do the same for others. Doesn't get any better

This was good. Great vocals and the music itself were so unique sounding. The animation in the video was really cool. This song has a style of its own.

Jesse Cope did this animation. He also did the video from Storm Corrosion - Drag Ropes, a project created by Mikael and Steven Wilson :)😊

Beautiful song. My wife and I just got divorced unexpectedly. At least it was for me. I don't know where I'm going either

Gosh, you're such a bad fan ... jk 😅. I honestly haven't seen this one either but I love the animation style. Opeth time and time again prove that you don't necessarily have to be "heavy" to be heavy. Great reaction. 🖤
