Simple and nice, but for those who have a DVD Player with component outputs, there are other converters that do the job very nicely, even holding the internal resolution of 480p. Keep going and God bless you!

Thanx Guy this just saved my (workout DVDs) life. I just purchased a beautiful Vizio Smart TV and it only has 2 of the AV ports (for gaming) in the back. My Mitsubishi 1080 Projector TV went on the blink a month ago and the cost to have it repaired was not worth it. It did have the AV ports though but had otherwise seen its day. My Mom used to ofttimes say “There are More Ways To Skin a Cat than just One” your video just proved that fact.👍🏾😉💙
Nice! Thanks! FYI: I’m going remove this video but will re-upload it to my other channel here> ruclips.net/user/simplecafee to consolidate all electronics tutorials. Hope you subscribe, Carla 😸!
I have a Sony 400 DVD player DVP-CX995V. (Manufactured May 2006). It has a HDMI, It works & plays on an older TV. However, it won't play with my newer (manufactured 8/2019) LG Nanacell 4K LED 65SM8600AUA. And that's the TV I want to use. I need help! Thanks! Do I need a HDMI to HDMI converter, if one exist. If so what would you recommend?
Can’t the audio just go into the receiver direct? I have to convert optical out from tv to rca so seems like two conversions could creat latency of sound.
absolutely, just pull L/R red and white cable to the side into your RCA ports on your sound system instead! Thanks! FYI: I’m going remove this video but will re-upload it to my other channel here> ruclips.net/user/simplecafee to consolidate all electronics tutorials. Hope you subscribe, C!
New Vizio has no HDMI port only the old style avi ports ...but my DVD player only support HDMI port ...if I would have known this I would not have brought this
you're dvd player has HDMI?? It must be a bluray player, me thinks. FYI: I’m going remove this video but will re-upload it to my other channel here> ruclips.net/user/simplecafee to consolidate all electronics tutorials. Hope you subscribe!
