I think it was year 2000. I recognized this guy that came into my studio but, couldn't quite figure out who he was. The next night I went to see Cheap Trick at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver BC and, there was Tom on bass. The guy who was in my studio the day before. I wish I got to chatting with him more but he was quite reserved that day. Cheap Trick totally rocked that night. One of the best concerts I've seen.
Being a bass player toms one of my favorite bass player great tone great note choice great look. Met him at a record signing here in Buffalo around the release of Heaven Tonight. Their debut is one of the best ever.
