Russian Armed Forces used to be considered #2 in the world. Currently ranked #2 in Russia. 😂

Thank you for explaining everything that the news does not cover and making it more simple for me and my family to follow. I hope that ukraine keeps going because Putin needs to learn Fuck Around And Found Out. Please keep up the awesome content and work.

Ukraine's advantage here is they can and do adapt in real time to what works and what does not work. Overrunning the border and being nice to the locals is working. With Russia trying to sort out the infighting in the Kremlin over who is at fault for the border, Ukraine will likely re-visit a certain big bridge down south and bring summer vacation to a permanent close for the squatters in Crimea. Maybe Russia needs to hold an election?

Russia would handle an election against Putin as they did with that General that opposed Putin...oops...plane down. Just like what Iran did to their last President. Or what the United States Liberal controlled Secret Service allowed to happen to Trump last month, but their Gen Z patsy missed.

I think that he, as a person in power, now needs to understand a few things, he cannot do the following:
1: Lie about progress. It does not matter how much you supress, beat down, or target individuals for speaking out. They physically now can see it.
2: Nuclear option: realistically, that is an absolutely last ditch, but if he does, he is a bigger fool than we all thought.
3: Be afraid of losing: cutting your losses wouldn't be the worst thing but let's be real here. Even if he doesn't cut and run until it's too late, he most likely will have more assassination attempts against him. There is no win scenario here, but less bad options.

I hope they learned their lessons and are putting up defenses so they don't over extend their lines.

UA created a very nice dilemma for RU ... pull troops from the east to support and 'liberate' the lost area in Kursk Oblast , and so weakening their creeping offensive. Or let UA keep RU soil with includes a political backlash and perhaps even more RU ground lost. It's a win win for UA. And a huge PR-stunt in the mix as extra bonus. I don't think Putin is going to use tactical nukes , RU army is not equipped to exploit this and would only serve as an excuse for China to drop all support. (greetings from Flanders, Belgium) (edit typo)

I've heard the river pronounced as see-yem. Just remember, even if Ukrainian and Russian are written in roman letters (instead of cyrillic), they do have a different pronounciation. Polish is the same way.

Nevermind, I've now heard it pronounced "Same" river by Denys Davydov who is Ukrainian. I guess pronounce it however you want, it'll be wrong no matter what. :)

I don't know enough geopolitically to even guess what Putin is thinking.
    My thoughts.
Putting has lost the advantage he had.
There will be no way this ends well for him. If he uses nukes, he'll have the rest of the planet up his ass about, we may even have a limited strike contingency for a scenario like that.
If he wants his Russian ground back, he'll need to pull out of Ukraine. Straight away.
This was a shit show when it started, it's just getting more so that way every day it goes on.
Infrastructure? What Infrastructure? We don't need no stinking Infrastructure 😂

Guess what's funny? That namely means a God's forgotten place. Deaf and choked.
Ukrainians might rather care about other directions while Russians found it strategic to flee behind Seym like they did across Dnepr.
We could get a brand new tiny country of Glushkovo! Like Monaco, right?
