Even battleships which were once considered the jewel of any navy was found to be obsolete in the very onset of WW2, it didn't even take couple of years of war to determine that. The cost to the exchequer does not make sense when resources are already running dry during war time. Even 100 drones would cost 100k compared to one 4 million tank, this 4 million is without the cost of logistics and personnel training.

In all fairness though this is like a mouse fighting a lion. For comparison Ukraine is using this for morale. They know they can't take massive land n hold it with only a dozen vehicles. The counter attack will push them right back to where they came from. The media is blasting this attack as something grand because it's a. Propaganda attack it's for show and moral. Sure, except that the facts are completely wrong and they just made a bunch of stuff up. No doubt animations can be helpful for learning, but it's probably important to also hire some actual journalists, researchers, or specialists to get the actual information right, besides only animators.

Ukraine took a command center in Kursk that were redirected from the southern front . So many soldiers from many directions are being diverted. Source :on American combat veterans channel .
Nobody from the front is being redirected though, national guard and wagner from belarus came as well as other russian military units from other parts of russia.
This incursion may look good in the headlines but strategically doesn’t mean anything. Russia is still advancing in Donbass and could well take Ukraine’s main supply hub there very soon.
Just a reminder, multiple Ukrainian lines are still collapsing in the East as they pull off this gamble, also gaining ground and holding on to it are two different things.
If Ukraine goes too deep, supply will become an issue unless some Russian insiders are expected to join them, which will be a very interesting scenario.
If their is backstabbing in Russian ranks, things would become extremely chaotic, i am damn sure their are some competent leaders in Russia, who would believe that putin has gone mad

What smaller should do? In all war history it was prime rule to find compact battlefield, where your small numbers will take all front, not allowing encirclement or such dispersion of reserves that ends in inability to maintain prolonged battle. Now there is no even one good bregade to make counterattack on Donbass. Half of them near Kursk border. Others - somevere else, probably in preparations for one more "brilliant" attack. Guys! Hey!! It was nobody there not because of stupidity. It was agreement between the USA and RF, not escalate further. Now with encouragement from London, this agreement was sent right to the garbage can. And know what will be the next? Now, the Kiev no more the side for any diplomacy. No open, no hidden. They are only terrorists. So say goodbye to Ucrania only without 4 region. It's low probability, that it even remains in future. Though, you still may do "Ah! and "Oh!" about "victories" on camera. In reality now this country jumped right from 43 to 45. Between Ardennes and Balaton.

Even battleships which were once considered the jewel of any navy was found to be obsolete in the very onset of WW2, it didn't even take couple of years of war to determine that. The cost to the exchequer does not make sense when resources are already running dry during war time. Even 100 drones would cost 100k compared to one 4 million tank, this 4 million is without the cost of logistics and personnel training.

This incursion may look good in the headlines but strategically doesn’t mean anything. Russia is still advancing in Donbass and could well take Ukraine’s main supply hub there very soon.

Just a reminder, multiple Ukrainian lines are still collapsing in the East as they pull off this gamble, also gaining ground and holding on to it are two different things.

From the very start there were components of two brigades. And several other on border. Now in half-pocket already several (more then 8000). Losses? You are proud about one column of tanks. Sometimes it happens in war. But even two days ago Ucrania lost there more then 100 different vehicles. Including more tanks then was in that column. Now they are still mounting, including mobile artillery, that was "wisely" sent on the frontline to hit targets above limits.
About your "dispersion of reserves". You have bigger and smaller. What smaller should do? In all war history it was prime rule to find compact battlefield, where your small numbers will take all front, not allowing encirclement or such dispersion of reserves that ends in inability to maintain prolonged battle. Now there is no even one good bregade to make counterattack on Donbass. Half of them near Kursk border. Others - somevere else, probably in preparations for one more "brilliant" attack.
Guys! Hey!! It was nobody there not because of stupidity. It was agreement between the USA and RF, not escalate further. Now with encouragement from London, this agreement was sent right to the garbage can. And know what will be the next? Now, the Kiev no more the side for any diplomacy. No open, no hidden. They are only terrorists. So say goodbye to Ucrania only without 4 region. It's low probability, that it even remains in future.
Though, you still may do "Ah! and "Oh!" about "victories" on camera. In reality now this country jumped right from 43 to 45. Between Ardennes and Balaton.
