Favourite professor is Rowan. He's a badass - first character in the games who doesn't simply tell you that the evil team is wrecking havoc and then leans back waiting for you to do all the work but instead runs out there himself to kick some butt. XD
And Sycamore is the one with the best theme song.
But in X/Y, sycamore also studies evolution, and Mega evolution is introduced in those games. In sun and moon, Kukui studies moves, which is related to Z-moves

So I didn't know who professor Burnet was. So I looked it up on RUclips. I typed in Professor Bur... and the first suggestion is "Professor Burnet Pregnant". Then I searched "Professor Burnet" and one of the first few videos has a thumbnail of Professor Burnet's laying down, showing her lower half titled "Professor Burnet feet"... I hate it here.

"Colress looks like he'd work for Aether if we didn't know any better." How do we know he doesn't? After Team Plasma fell apart in Gen 5, you can learn from an NPC that a man named Colress had been out there to study the rocks on Route 10 outside Geosenge (which we learn later does connect to Mega Evolution) so it sounds like he might be traveling alone instead of being with the team anymore. Then when we first meet him in Alola, it's right outside one of the Aether trailers and **Spoiler?**
in the RR episode of USUM, he came to rescue the Aether Foundation. I know he told Ghetsis he hates his guts, but doesn't say that going after Ghetsis is why he's there. It could just be he was already in the building when this happened so he turned himself invisible and went to investigate. It's obvious he's learned a thing or two about Wormholes since he sent all of the villains back through a portal to their original worlds. It seems very likely he's been with Aether for a while.

I wondered if anyone would mention that. He not only voiced three characters in the same series (I think he did the voice for Wattson too if I remember right) but it's funny that Norman and Birch are said to be good friends that they'd share something like that in common.

When Dr. Fuji was brought up, I thought you would mention Mr. Fuji in the game. It's heavily indicated that Mr. Fuji in the game might have participated in the creation of Mewtwo, just like how the movie presents.
I didn’t realise professor Oak’s name is Samuel Oak (like my name) until I rewatched diamond and pearl episodes. It was so cool!!

Just a thought. Could professor Rowan be Lookers dad? - hair kind of similar and the coat could possibly be the same, being the reason why we never see Rowan with it on?
Hoops can you do a list of your favorite "major appearance Pokemon", basically Pokemon that are not main characters but played an important role/obstacle during gameplay (wasn't just a wild encounter). Some examples include: (1) Psyducks from Pokemon DP, (2) Snorlax from RG, (3) Marowak Ghost from RG, (4) Wigglytuff from PMD, (5) Sudowoodo from GS, (6) Sick lighthouse Ampharos from GS, (7) Team Aqua's Wailmers from RS, (8) Roggenrola from BW, (9) Crustle from BW, (10) Galvantula's spider webs from BW, and so many more obstacles.
I can confirm the NPC dialogue about Juniper and her dad being backpackers/hikers. I think the NPC was nearby a waterfall in either Black and White or their sequels.
I don't remember too well, it's been a while since my last playthrough.
OK, yeah. Koharu has the HARU from spring but is meaning is "Child of spring"
コハル, too bad her name is in katakana instead of hiragana and kanji
Since it'll be 小春 or literally 子春 as it carries the same meaning for child of spring, meaning the child was born during spring
コ = ko, which can be 子, meaning a child
But so far, i havent found her Kanji name
But when you're used to Japanese names, you literally knows her name's meaning albeit sometimes there are a few words that sounds about the same

The name Pattern for Professor Cerise seems to continue in other languages as well, his german name is "Professor Kirsch" Its the german name for cherry (Kirsche) without the e at the end, wich also continues the german pattern of naming professors after Trees, but removing the last letter on it, we had until Gen 4^^

Cool video. You should´ve mentioned that Professor Magnolia was so far the only Pokemon Professor that had indirectly related to the leaders of an evil team (these being Rose and Oleana, the characters that own and direct the secret branch of Macrocosmos), since the dynamax bands were created by Rose and Oleana with the help of her research about the dynamax phenomenon and with the power spot detector that she created that they used to track down the wishing stars and the power spots.
And Sonia, despite being the less experienced Pokemon Professor so far, has some really impressive achievements considering the amount of time she has been in her career as such: She discovered the truth about the legend about the darkest day that got lost thousands of years ago, discovered two legendary pokemon unknown by the world until that point and is a successful published writer with a book where she talks about her discoveries and she also had two assistants earlier than any other as well. And she is also the only Pokemon Professor that has direct connections to the champion and a gym leader.
I do hope you'll be able to upload that Gold and Silver beta leak video eventually. Maybe just give it a few days or weeks and it should be fine.

2 mistakes, 1 professor Magnolia isn't the first character you see in sword and shield, it's chairman rose and there are way more than 8 professors
