But what about Pheromosa, Buzzwole, Guzzlord, Blacephalon, Poipole, Solgaleo, Lunala and Naganedel that arent made of synthetic materials? And why about pokemon like Magnemite, Voltor, Garbodor or Vaniluxe that are made of synthetic materials?
The Kanto theory reminds me of a book I read called The Giver. In it society is like... blissfully unaware of things like old age or color and the plot follows the main character being able to see this stuff and becomes conscious of it. So maybe the Kanto in G/S is still timeless in that the people don't have concepts of time passing and remain unaware. Meanwhile the protag of Johto who understands time is able to keep seeing time pass even if the people around him cant
To add to the theory of Kanto being stuck in time could be because of the experiments they did with mewtwo and potentially used Roar of time but not fully powered and made a time bubble. I know there's a 3 generation difference between the games but still since mew the the origin of all pokemon and can use roar of time
Not to mention that while blue and red age in the aloha games the next time you see them is in kanto as kids agian possibly meaning that they region has a time lock on it. Also the jigglypuff bit most likely could be true. Other pokemon are known to be related in similar ways even without them coming from space such as garchomp and sharpedo showing that they could of came from a similar ancestor which could still be around honestly tho that is a different can of worms.

So now I have one to cuddle with at home, and my friends and I have one to cuddle with when emotionally overwhelmed at the social center! It's already come in handy multiple times, for multiple people!
When i saw Rwd and Ash on the same thumbnail, I thought you were gonna talk about Red bwing Ash's father, which actually makes sense in my opinion. Think abou it! Ash already has every pokemon registered in his pokedex (it literally tells him which pokemon is which),however, this would only be possible if someone already caught every one of them and who does Oak give this quest to in the first games? As for the other theories, I haven't taught about them in these ways. If Gamefreak confirmed any or maybe eveb all of these theories, I honestly wouldn't be suprised, thanks to your video. ❤
Even in this scenario, it would just mean red made the journey first and registered every pokemon. This does not point to the possibility that he is ash's father, especially when red is 11 in the games and beat Brock and misty during his journey. Let's say red became a father very early at age 18 and ash starts his journey 11 years later, that would make red 29, Brock and misty should be a similar age. But we know ash travels with both of them and they are all relatively close in age, certainly not close to 30. We also know that the anime has has the pokemon tower in lavender town but the tower gets turned into a radio tower 2 years after reds journey, not to mention that red defeated team rocket and blue took over as the 8th gym leader which also isn't the case in ash's journey. This theory honestly doesn't hold any ground.

One of the theories that was more recent that I find completely dumb and that is Liko being the daughter of Ash and Serena which btw is debunked in recent episodes of Horizons and I'm glad
I got a terrible theory. What if in an alternate outcome to ORAS, Steven and the Devon corporation used the Link Cable wormhole to send the meteor to the world of the Mystery Dungeon Red and Blue games, but the radiation or influx of power not only killed off the humans in that world but mutated the Pokemon to become more "Human-Like" and allowed them to evolve and adapt more human-like qualities, such as creating their own shops organizations, and actual towns with humans being considered extinct but not fully forgotten. Another terrible theory is that Giratina is not the Original third member of the Creation Trio. It was created by the laws of Matter and Anti Matter and Giratina was the destructive shadow of Anti-Matter of the original Pokemon of Matter. When Giratina attacked and nearly destroyed his original counterpart, he was banished to another dimension for being too destructive and dangerous while the remains of the original Pokemon of Matter, was salvaged and turned into the Unown. Pokemon that can manipulate and create Matter in mass but too fractured to be a true Legendary on Palkia and Dialga's level. So to keep them safe, they themselves were sent to a different dimension for their safety, to prevent the possibility of them being destroyed by Giratina should it ever escape.
With Ash/Kanto aging is that there is a point where time stopped moving forward. Ash aged two years in Kanto before the start of Journeys... Red and Blue were babies.
Maybe Clefairy looked completely different in space, but adapted to Earth and converged to look like Jigglypuff, similarly to how some species converged in Paldea. Another similarity is that both shinies have green accents.
the time-locked Kanto theory made me thing about something else: the roster of pkmn we see in Gen I/III/VI Kanto (the one without the day-night cycle) is different from the one we see in Gen II/IV Kanto. thus the only explanation we can give is that the Gen 1 (+ remakes) Kanto is locked in a timeless bouble, while the real Kanto can only be visited in the Johto games.
i honestly think the clefairy and jigglypuff theory would be a sound thing, but there is the paradox pokemon Scream Tail in Scarlet that is essentially a pre-historic Jigglypuff. The only thing i can think of is that clefairy and its evolution line arrived from space back before the paradox pokemon era and eventually it became scream tail, and then eventually it becomes jigglypuff
So I don't know if this was in 1-7, but I have a theory. Gary and Blue both exist. They are brothers, identical, but not twins. Red, Blue, and Leaf are 2-3 years older than Ash and Gary. Points in favor: Red and Ash both appear in EX Masters and Red is older than Ash. Blue in Alola and Pasio is has a different personality than Gary. Blue is not quite as smug (still arrogant) and less of a jerk in general. Also Blue is traveling with Red, which is much more likely than Gary traveling with Ash. It explains why Oak asks you for his grandson's name. It's not that he doesn't know, he has just isn't sure which of his two grandsons is your rival. If we assume the player in Red/Blue is Ash, that explains the lack of Leaf; she left a few years ago with Red and Blue.
The general director of the anime kunihiko iyama already gave us a canon answer why ash doesn’t age He says “I viewed the anime as a story that captured the feel of a day of summer vacation in one’s childhood of children venturing on a trip into the unknown exploring a world without parents alongside their friends and others who they engage along the way” “In the setting of the animation the main character ash is forever ten years old and the background season is forever early summer” “Sometimes it gets cold in the mountains or it could be hot, those changes happen by traveling” “Fundamentally it is forever early summer and he is forever ten years old and on top of that a day of summer vacation repeats perpetually” “This is what I hoped to create” “ a view of the world that would be ideal for children (addlibbed by me: and adults young at heart)”
I never liked that “explanation” it just sounds pretentious and bad/lazy writing. IDK if it was the company’s idea or the director but think most of us agree that it was a stupid decision
Time only seems to pass in Kanto during the Johto games because of a rare internal clock disorder the main character has that produces hallucinations of light changes. Combine that with being bullet-train lagged...
The thing about Ash never aging, adding "proof" that Kanto is timeless isn't quite cased closed. Ash did age once then he was sent back to being 10 again. In "Pikachu & Pichu" where he had a party, he said to Pikachu that it has been a full year since they met in Pallet Town, and this party is to celebrate that. He got Pikachu on his 10th birthday, so that would technically make him 11 years old in that.
The Jigglypuff one doesn't make any sense. If Jigglypuff is a descended of Clefairy, then how you explain Scream Tail? That is a Paradox version of Jigglypuff. The Meltan one does actually make a ton of sense though, the only thing that really prevents it from being legit is the official confirmation from GF/Nintendo/TPC. And regarding the Kanto one, I can understand the logic of it but it is still way too convoluted to be legit, so I would put that one on hold.
@@RoyArkon not quite. To us, they are pokemon. But in universe, they aren't confirmed especially since there is lore in the game that state that. The "time machine" possibly creates things from imagination
So I'm a tad bit confused about the Kanto time not passing in their games. In let's go Pikachu and Eevee Red, Blue, and Green all look as if they would have aged a year from the original games and frlg.
I always did think the jigglypuff and clefairy lines were so similar that I wondered why game freak basically made duplicate pokemon within its first game. So the branched off, natural evolution theory makes good sense actually.
I have a theory that the reason mega evolution is so rare outside of Kalos is due to some Pokémon leagues having outright banned it for one reason or another.
I think the day/night thing on Kanto has something to do with the save system on the region. It's noticeable that the save animation has changed on the later generations, like on fourth that you can see your character using a watch, so my theory is that in Kanto it takes a LOT to the character to save his progress in-game, so when you reload your saved game, almost a whole day have passed (but again, that happens in-game). Maybe the technology to save faster was only taken to Kanto 2 years after, in the Johto remakes. And, in the LGPE games case, i have no idea lmao
Here's a theory that's related to the theory of Gengar being Clefable's "shadow". My argument against that would be that it doesn't explain Gastly and Haunter. But what if they are also explained? What if Gastly is Cleffa's "shadow", and Haunter is Clefairy's "shadow"? I just took a fan theory with a gaping wide pothole in it and filled that plothole.
I have one theory, what happens to wild Pokémon when they faint? My answer to this question is that they die. No one will be able to heal them as they’re in the wild and may not be found again.
Meltan is absolutely from our world along with docile Roaming Gimmighoul. That doesn't necessarily make it an Ultra Beast, though; of all the established alternate worlds/dimensions/timelines in Pokémon, not all of them are separated by Ultra Space. I mean, Pokémon Red and Blue versions also take place in a version of Earth as we know it. It wasn't really til Gen 3 that the games established a unique world for the games to take place in and Ultra Beasts come from worlds that _don't_ have games set in them
You become champion in the same day you receive your starter in the Kanto region lol I always thought about the Kanto games this way, you start your journey and defeat the champion in less than 24 hours
About Meltan and Melmetal: they can't be Ultra Beasts because ALL of the UB has the same "metallic" sound at the end of their cry (Cosmog, Cosmoem, Lunala & Solgaleo included) which Meltan and Melmetal have not so I think they're officially NOT-UB. 🙈🙈🙈
The jigglypuff were the evolutionary path of the clefairy that went outside of Mt. Moon. Also, I feel that clefairy being from outer space, implies that they are from another planet which contained other pokemon on it. What other pokemon are there and how many other planets are inhabited? Maybe too much focus on interdimensional pokemon and not enough on interplanetary.
The second theory made me think that in the kanto region, the entire journey takes place in one day. Making red even more of a beast. Or that in Kanto, 999 hours takes place in half a day. The last theory is my new head cannon though. It's true. Can't tell me otherwise lol
Same reason some apes didn’t evolve into humans, common ancestor is definitely something that would of happened at some point but some clefairy might of had some environmental pressure to evolve into jigglypuff
Love the Meltan & Melmetal are Ultra Beasts, and the Jigglypuff/Clefairy Theories they were Awesome and fit Really Well; The Time doesn't pass in Kanto one though.... then explain where Let's Go stands on the Timeline?!?!?!
Considering there's MULTIPLE pokemon that "come from space" implies there's another pokemon world out there or that arceus created alot more than just ash's world. 😂
I think these have good logic to them. A love me a bit of silliness as long as it has some sort of logic to follow. It can be odd logic but it still counts.
If being from our real-world dimension makes Meltan/Melmetal Ultra Beasts, does that mean Lt. Surge is an Ultra Beast? Since he's from America? Also, what about Mew? Isn't Mew from Guyana?
Poipol is said to be a starter like Pokémon himself in its own world so what if Mel metal is the other part of its starter trio there both 2 stage evos and both go from pretty small to pretty big
I think you might actually have it backwards with clefairy and jigglypuff. Since Jigglypuff can inflate... What if several jigglypuff ended up floating away to the moon sometime in the distant past? There, they adapted and became the clefairy line, which then returned to Earth via their asteroid or whatever? Take this with a grain of salt, since it's been years since I've taken ecology + evolution, but. Unless there is a specific event that occurs that separates the population (like an earthquake that splits a land mass and leaves one population of the same species on each side), you aren't really going to have a predecessor species and its descendent living in the same area, because they would likely be competing for the same ecological niche. In this case, the clefairy line evolved in space, which was the separating event. They only returned to earth by accident, which is why the two populations can coexist.
So the funny thing about the Kanto Time thing is that, while the time part is a bit nonsense, you theoretically COULD have a part of a world that experiences no day/night cycle. Imagine being at the North Pole, but the planet does not have a tilt. The sun will always be right at the horizon, just a little above (refraction). It'll circle you, but there won't be day or night. This also works (perhaps better) if the pole is *facing* the sun, and you live on the equator. (Uranus but solid); the Sun would actually *never move* from one spot in the sky. (I guess it also works if you're at the pole that's facing the sun, but the sun would have to be much, much dimmer. Probably not feasible?) In any case, the planet that Pokémon takes place on has Kanto in perpetual dim sunlight. Johto is far away enough that it spins *around* Kanto, experiencing day and night.
For some point that disprove or point out problems. 1 Giovanni showing up in Pokémon go after ultra sun a d moon cold be a coincidence with Pokémon go not expect to be this big. 2 You say the kanto game which are in a more advanced time, doesn't have time move, but the johto which is more like the past, dose. Also if time doesn't pass litter nothing happens. For the third, why is there still clefairy if they evolved into jigglypuff, and doesn't explain why is stuck on this plant?
The Johto/ Kanto-time-thing reminds me a bit of the Argonian language and culture in the Elder Scrolls games. Because Argonians believe in an eternal cycle or connection between birth and rebirth and all things living, their language doesn't have a word or grammtaical feature to show off time. The very concept of time doesn't exist. Couldn't it be that it is more or less the same with the people of Kanto? Time passes, but their culture doesn't acknowledge it - so it doesn't exist for a Kantonian? But your Johtonian avatar has a diffrent background and thus the passage of time has a meaning for them and that's the whole reason why you are aware of this. Because there are mentions of passing timeframes within the Kanto games (the shared history of Oak and Agatha, the yearly return of the SS Anne, the sheer fact that Kanto is inahbited by people of diffrent age and the existance of the Pokémon Tower as a burial site). Alternatively the Pokémon Tower is what keeps time from passing in a normal way, as it doesn't exist in the Johto games anymore.

I thought one of the theorys will be red is ash's father
Can you do it in the next pokemon bad theorys with perfect sense video
I think the day/night thing on Kanto has something to do with the save system on the region. It's noticeable that the save animation has changed on the later generations, like on fourth that you can see your character using a watch, so my theory is that in Kanto it takes a LOT to the character to save his progress in-game, so when you reload your saved game, almost a whole day have passed (but again, that happens in-game). Maybe the technology to save faster was only taken to Kanto 2 years after, in the Johto remakes. And, in the LGPE games case, i have no idea lmao
I've got an idea for a future video. What if you make Pokemon who don't have a trio like Celebi or Shaymin and give them a proper trio.
I guess Kanto's Time Gears have been stolen...
My hypothesis is that fairy type are the first regional variant. That or bang might be coming a steel electric type is, maybe.
I love your Meltan theory.
I have one theory, what happens to wild Pokémon when they faint? My answer to this question is that they die. No one will be able to heal them as they’re in the wild and may not be found again.
I love your videos
Thank you!!
Also both Jigglypuff and Clefairy gain a secondary colour of green in their shinies
Screamtail immediately disproves this, I still believe Clefairy is of extraterrestrial nature
Scream tail might not even be a real pokemon. Might be imaginary
It wasn't really til Gen 3 that the games established a unique world for the games to take place in and Ultra Beasts come from worlds that _don't_ have games set in them
My hope is that one of my theories makes your list one day 😂
What is your best theory
Tell me some.
Theories start at 2:28
Thank you
You become champion in the same day you receive your starter in the Kanto region lol I always thought about the Kanto games this way, you start your journey and defeat the champion in less than 24 hours
I’ll take the theory that Clefairy intermingled with scream tail, and that resulted in Jigglypuff, if I work to go down that theory
🙈🙈🙈
I can't believe it's 8th episode already... I though it's 5th or 6th at max.
I thought it's the 3rd our 4th
My theory is that Kanto gameplay takes place during the day because those protagonists sleep at night
But what about Scream Tail? Isn’t it an ancient ancestor of Jigglypuff?
The Jigglypuff and Kanto theories are interesting. if it wasn't for Jigglypuff's past ancestor Scream Tail then I might agree with it.
Hoops: how dare you
Me: okay I'm sorry 😅
The second theory made me think that in the kanto region, the entire journey takes place in one day. Making red even more of a beast. Or that in Kanto, 999 hours takes place in half a day. The last theory is my new head cannon though. It's true. Can't tell me otherwise lol
I think it'd make more sense if clefairy and jigglypuff had a common ancestor. Why would the clefairy not all become jigglypuff?
Same reason some apes didn’t evolve into humans, common ancestor is definitely something that would of happened at some point but some clefairy might of had some environmental pressure to evolve into jigglypuff
Jigglypuff is actually a Kirby that sucked in a Clefairy haha
Time not passing in Kanto explains why Ash didn't age.
Awesome ring 🙌
I love This series
SCREAM TAIL HAS TRAITS OF JIGGLYPUFF AND CLEFAIRY. IT’S THE MISSING LINK
Probably not feasible?)
In any case, the planet that Pokémon takes place on has Kanto in perpetual dim sunlight.
Could the the time in Kanto theory apply to the anime? Since Ash didn't really age?
Only one of these was a bad theory 😂 but good video anyway
We need legends celebi or something for johto, or atleast lets go... something johto- ey. i will be mad if we get a black and white remake.
Kind of funny when people mistake "hasnt gotten taller" for "time isnt moving".
Yeah that second one requires some extreme mental loops and really is terrible beyond belief.
Is that why Ash Ketchum is still10 after 25 years? Because Kanto has no time?
Did I see a tofrug plushy during the sponser ad?
does that mean that folkachi is an ultra beast
I think clefairy evolved from the jigglypuff line. We have scream tail so the jigglypuff line has been around
So if time doesnt pass in kanto..does this mean Red/the player is 10 yrs forever? and that Prof. Oak will live forever? 🤔
Where does Scream Tail fit in the last one, though?
Its possible that it just doesn't exist
@@bryzantine1571 Or it might have somehow come from an alternate reality where PokeEarth is still in its Stone Age phase.
That darned gravity always dragging people & pokemon down. Good for Jigglypuff for escaping it.
did you forget about Scream Tail?
Heres a theory, pokemon endorses animal fighting.
That theory doesn’t work because kanto has a day night cycle in the anime
How is Pokémon Go the “real world”?
