Hey Guys, This week we are attempting to fix our ceramic soap dish that fell off the shower wall in our daughter's bathroom. So you know when you just buy a new home, there is always going to be something to repair. I found another RUclips tutorial and thought... Hey that looks super easy. So off to Home Depot we went. I hope this video helps you if you ever find yourself needing to repair your soap dish.
Side note: I was going to fix this myself, but my hubs is a horrible videographer. You'd swear you were watching an earthquake...lol. So I filmed, he fixed!

Thank you! I am a diy gramma and we haves lived in our so long, the soap fish fell out! But my husband of 44 years and I disagreed on how to put it in. So I watched another video (yours) and am going to do it your way! Thx you two! The best solution is to have your husband drop by but, we live in MN and the wind chill is -20 to -40 for a while!😊
Spit on your finger or dip finger in a cup of soapy water to smooth caulking with finger!

I liked the way the new one was placed. But I missed to see how the broken one was removed. mine soap dish is broken and need to remove it first without breaking surrounding tiles.
Our soap dish actually fell off while my daughter was taking a shower. So we just had to replace.

Thank you Lea Bee for the good video and tips on how to replace the soap dish. Mine just fell out as well so I cleaned it and the hole it left in the wall. I got the Gorilla Glue Caulk you suggested but used GE Caulk instead that I saw in another video. I liked the way your husband put the glue on the back of the soap dish and I did the same. When I put it into the hole in the wall and tried to move it around a bit to make sure it was right where it needed to be IT DIDN'T MOVE! 😁 It looks great and I am very appreciative of your video.

Unfortunately I am not sure. THat was our soap dish that came off, and we fixed it. I would try a tile store maybe. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck!

It was our soap dish that just fell off. So we reinstalled it. But I think any tile store can order them.
