There is this strange phenomenon that occurs where no matter how great of a guitarist you are, when you enter a guitar store your brain resets and all you know is Aminor pentatonic.
I was literally about to comment about that moment lol. Something so peaceful watching a video of 2 epic guitar players geeking out over classic guitars. He was definitely living in the moment there.
Cool vid. Loved when Mark played Unable to See and Myles near the end looking out the window playing the 28 Martin. Then Casually breaks into Haunted by Design.
In live or in video it is always a great pleasure to see Mark playing his riff from another world, he's the most emotional musician I know, i m really happy to have met him last year. Thanks for sharing 🙂
@@williamking8684 Yeah, Mark is already a legend. We're in Asia acknowledge his ability. Not really sure about people around the globe credited Myles for his guitar skill, though I know he's awesome too
@Matts Guitar Shop TV LOVE these videos. Myles and Mark obviously had loads of fun there. I've seen a clip on Facebook of them playing "In Loving Memory" in your store. Is there any chance you will upload it?
He plays the solo on writings on the wall from the last hero as well as the 2nd and 4th solos on the song Fortress for reference as to how good he is ;p
Listen to You See It by Citizen Swing. Myles was the lead guitarist and singer and the solo in that song is ridiculous. Like Tremonti level or greater.
I met Mark at one of their shows in my hometown. He was walking through the crowd and I slapped his shoulder and shook his hand. We chatted for a bit but I didn’t really know what else to say.. he actually wanted to talk some more and I was half drunk and kind of dismissed him, god I’m a douche! 🤦🏻♂️
I dont understand how he can just sit down and play awsome solos like that in the beginning. What is the mindset? Scales? Pentatonics? Random pieces of songs he knows how to play? Or just what would sound good? I wish I knew.
@@claudiagiacomo4725 I know that 😊 it was the song afterwards that I couldn't remember the title of. 😊 But you're right, In Loving Memory is an incredible song
He had been a jazz guitar instructor for a full decade before he even met Mark Tremonti and they invited to play in Alter Bridge without even knowing he played guitar. Can you believe it? lol
@@williamking8684 It's not but it's close, or he just used the begin part, which would be a shame, but I can't tell the difference now, because I'm too fucking high...
Can't blame him. He's more of a songwriter. That song writer who "just played their song over and over again" responsible for most tasty riffs and solos I've heard for the past 15 years.
There is this strange phenomenon that occurs where no matter how great of a guitarist you are, when you enter a guitar store your brain resets and all you know is Aminor pentatonic.
I don’t even know that ! 🤣
So true ...
That's all u need baby!!
In Loving Memory is such a pretty song. Literally makes me cry.
@Torie Harris...me toooooo!
same feeling with mine too
We are watching two modern legends of music.
8:53 Tremonti - Never Wrong
15:04 Myles Kennedy - Haunted By Design
Love it when they play their solo stuff :)
Mark play Unable To See too just before
Also Blackbird around 4:40, In Loving Memory 6:30, Unable To See 8:28
Mark Tremonti begins to play every guitarist like: 😵.
true af
14:13 you can see Myles just living in the moment right there i love it
I was literally about to comment about that moment lol. Something so peaceful watching a video of 2 epic guitar players geeking out over classic guitars. He was definitely living in the moment there.
I’m so proud of you
He's looking at a sick PRS Tremonti thinkin, "When's gonna be my time?!"

Such a soulful and great guys in such a cold digital modern-day music world!

Two of the best and most underrated guitarists.. 🤘
I wouldn't say under rated, definitely not like they used to be. Theve gained a lot of notoriety in the past 2 years
@@williamking8684 maybe Myles has.. but mark not so much

In Loving Memory was AWESOME!!!!
Thanks for curing my depression today - especially Myles on that 58 Les Paul - such a soulful player wow 🙂
Karen Forbes I was feeling pretty down today but this video put a smile 😊 on my face to, amazing what music does to ones soul 👍🏻
Mark D - Absolutely- keep on rockin! 😀
Mark is very careful not to be filmed playing any electric that isn't a PRS.
Would like to know which guitars they bought
Last time I saw these two they were shopping for guitars in NYC. I wish they’d do it more often on video of course.
"I got a sick Schecter I'll trade you." lol
Man I was waiting for some more of this interview clips. Love and respect from India. 🖤🙏

Good asking, Dude!
I would like to watch It too!
🇧🇷🤟🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻
I know Mark was playing it from around 6:30 to 7:30. Did they do a duo or full band playthru? :O we need that!!
You're gonna make a lot of AB fans extremely happy...

Thanks ! Hope you’ll enjoy the videos on the channel !
Myles got some sick licks!
And I'm pretty sure none of those guitars cost below 5 grands
lol, the first one is probably worth $500k or better, and the rest are probably worth $100k or more
@@MPMx92 yeah I guess those figures are above 5 grand, ain't they?
Yeah. Those les Paul’s are worth 500k together
I really want a pair of those glasses Myles has.
17:15 for meeee????? His smile 😂
His "meeeee?!" Sounded exactly like his character Thor in Rockstar
Man I just keep coming back to this for 4:24 . Hope thats in the new album.
Didn’t know miles was such a good player, sweet tone
He plays the solo on writings on the wall from the last hero as well as the 2nd and 4th solos on the song Fortress for reference as to how good he is ;p
He also plays the first half of the solo on Blackbird
Both Mark and Saul have said myles is the better player

Check out to Myles' first band Cosmic Dust and listen him shredding for minutes! 🤘
Superbe vidéo ! Je n’aurai pas pu retenir mes larmes si j’avais pu côtoyer et entendre Myles et Mark jouer. Vous embauchez ? 😄
cool, thank you for this
Holy Moly.... what a sound of that LP at the beginning... slober
Yeah it’s spot! One of the best Les paul in the world! 😎🤟
Most underrated band in history
Awesome stuff

I love how Myles is just chilling in the back with Jeff Buckley’s telecaster

First you practice and practice the said concepts, and then the Muscle memory just takes you there.
Wasn't 'Spot' (The first guitar played by Miles) once owned by Joe Bonamassa?
We got it from Joe !
Sir Tremonti.. My God..
3:40 Michael Jackson back from the dead
5:55
Surprise he won't prefer to have a Single Cut version of that one
hate when those guitars are not at least single cutted
o myles lá num kinder ovo posando de modelo e o mark lá se acabando nos violão antigo ahahaha amo

It is the soul of the shop now !

What amp is Myles playing through???
1987 Marshall Silber Jubilee 25/50 formerly Owned by Joe Bonamassa we do have in the shop
Can anyone recognize the riff Mark plays at 4:25 ?
Its one of the fingerpicking riffs that Mark teach on his Sound & Story DVD ;)
What song do they play at the end together?
They are just playing for fun by ear. That's not a song, it's just them jamming.
@@jbrashguitarist I meant the very last few seconds of the video when Myles started singing. It sounded like AC/DC to me.
