Hey Kerry, I found out that PABA and Helioplex, (some sunscreens use these), cause a "chemical burn" effect on my skin! I think that's what's happening to you. It doesn't feel great. Tricky detail, some sunscreen makers use it in their "Sensitive Skin" or "Non-oily", high-end products, and not in others in their same line. I have wondered why more of the prefab builders don’t build on trailers. Something I would love to see, especially nice one level homes. Not interested in loft bedrooms, and there is a shortage of the single floor models.
Has anyone figured out how it's not a larceny racket in the US where simply trying to purchase land is identical to the cost of a home? I'm still confused as to how people can even claim they're saving money on these things when the land is just as expensive?
You can still get red skin when wearing sunscreen. However, you won’t burn enough to worry about sun damage that can cause skin issues later. Keep up with the sunscreen!😊
Hat. You should consider a hat. I'm allergic to most Goop for protecting my pasty countenance, and the best I've been able to do is the stuff for sports--no coconut scent seems to help. I still have to avoid a list of 'active ingredients' beyond that. So I've embraced hats. But this still doesn't completely protect me when I'm fishing at high altitude. Thanks for telling us about this event, but most of those homes look like very small flat-roofed boxes. Are there any homes that are 3 and 4 bedrooms with a larger kitchen, a living room and dining, two plus baths and laundry room, that are not just the minimal one or two bedroom setup? And would those homes displayed at this show withstand tornados, hurricanes, and earthquakes under 7.5 on the Richter scale? And can the average American actually OWN the land under those prefab homes?? It’s VERY hard not to be skeptical these days.😒
Yep aLoe and maybe cortisone, alone too, could help to calm your skin down. I went through tons of sunscreens... Try blending peeled cucumber, fresh aloe vera pulp and lemon juice together. Apply to your face to ease the redness and rinse after. If you are sensitive or have allergies with any of these ingredients, don't try it pls.
I know this may sound crazy.....but most of the people that eliminate grains, seed oils, and processed foods don't even need sunscreen. It is called the keto diet and there are many other benefits you will experience from it. If you really want to do your body good; go all the way to the carnivore diet. Kerry 😊as always I love your videos…. BUT… please start using sunscreen. I just had a benign melanoma removed from behind my ear of all places… and the doctor told me they can appear where the sun doesn’t shine… ☀️ OK , take care! Hugs 🤗 all around!
@@KerryTarnow I’m not sure if they carry this brand in Canada “Native” they make shower gel, deodorant etc. But their sunscreen is excellent. It’s not chemical, it’s a zinc based sunscreen. It goes on white but blends in super well so you don’t end up looking like a ghost who suffers from anemia. Good luck. 🍀
I have a similar skin issue. An allergy to aloe has wreaked havoc on my skin and made it difficult to avoid burning skin. So I hide in the shade and use wide brimmed hats often. I am allergic to some sunscreens. It might be worth finding some hypoallergenic sunscreen. And, you can use the best method - a hat and long sleeves. Take care.
Method Homes could be so awesome, but they keep offering designs with the same huge design flaw that is only addressed in their regular series, specifically Connect 6L does it best, and then the larger 2-story homes. The flaw is that they put the kitchen right in the middle of the house. So, you can't hide your messy kitchen during a party. And, most importantly, it's super dangerous for anyone with pets or small children, who'd be running through that space while you're working with sharp knives, hot pots, etc. The kitchen of any well-designed home is off to one side and can be closed off to traffic. There should also be good ventilation and a window over the sink. I have a kitchen in the middle of my house, and everyone ends up there. I've actually burned people because they squish into the kitchen, which is between the two main gathering areas of the house. It was obviously designed by someone who didn't have children, friends, family or a stomach.
Sorry to say that I can't find your links. You are not the only one with this problem, but links do show up for some people . Not sure what that means, but I thought you should be aware.😢
Algorithm comment + tip for red face: Although this works well for me, it may or may not work as well for others. Skip the sunscreen, shade the face best you can based off your personal level of tolerance for superficial embarrassment, immediately after being in the sun apply a decent amount of grape seed oil, wash it off approximately 30 minutes later. That should help avoid a burn but turn into tan. It does for me, and best of luck.
Hi Kerry, My house burned down in California a few years ago. The land is out in the country, so I want something that fits there, not a chrome and glass rectangular fishbowl. I know modern style homes are your preference, but could you please help find more cottage style homes, such as the Alumhouse "Nordic" that you featured in a prior video? Thank you, Mike
KERRY, why don't you have pre fab homes like say under 100,000 dollars that people on ssi can afford, like a lot of square footage for less money $200,000 is not affordable housing for alot of people. Thanks
It should make a big difference with the redness. Lighting is everything. The lighting I saw today seemed pretty harsh. You can get screens (filters) to soften it.
Try a clean mineral sunscreen instead of a chemical subscreen. My cranky skin does great with Banana Boat for Babies. Mineral sunscreens are rarely elegant, but you won't end up...where you are as of this video. 🤭
I'm allergic to it ,also, read all ingredients carefullly..Paba or parabens, also, avoid polyparabens and methylparabens ,makes u miserable, and it's in many ,many products lotions, cleansing cream etc. Wish you well try benadryl or anti itch creams, or cucumber creams relieve itching or redness.
you can talk about affordble housing more than 100 per sq ft, you can talk about affordable housing with a 2 floor structure; so, as far as i can tell, the subject was never addressed.
You don't use products with retinol in them, do you? That can cause red skin when exposed to sunlight. The other thought is yes, you may have an allergy to an ingredient in your sunscreen. Check out hypoallergenic brands. If that fails, see a dematologist. If that fails, see a functional medicine physician or an allergist.
Kerry, I used to get really red after using sunscreen, too. I found out I was allergic to PABA. PABA is found in many brands of sunscreen. Try one without PABA and see if that helps. I am not a doctor, but I do have practical experience and lighter skin tones.

I am allergic to some sunscreens. It might be worth finding some hypoallergenic sunscreen. And, you can use the best method - a hat and long sleeves. Take care.
Try natural sunscreen (mineral sunscreen)
Thanks!
Use Desert Essence Aloe Vera gel on your face. It should help.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Dude, you look awesome! They don’t have your charm and charisma - that’s all. 😊 👍 Haters these days … 😂 😂
I appreciate that!
ARE THERE CHEMICALS IN UR SUNSCREEN OR JUST ZINC OXIDE?
Good question, I’ll look
Hemp seed oil has good SFP
Thank you!
"Uncle Bud's" Hempseed oil lotion. Made in California
Maybe Zinc based (blue lizard)
Thanks I’ll check it out
Kerry needs a good bucket hat, since the sunscreen doesn't work.
I think thats the answer
Love the prefabs except for prices. One reason for prefabs was affordability and that no longer exists. Now they are getting to high in prices.
True, the prices have gone up a lot in the last few years
Method Homes could be so awesome, but they keep offering designs with the same huge design flaw that is only addressed in their regular series, specifically Connect 6L does it best, and then the larger 2-story homes.
Thats a good point. People do seem to flock to the kitchen
Look for an organic sunscreen with zinc and no chemicals hard to pronounce❤.
Thank you🙌🏼
Sorry to say that I can't find your links. You are not the only one with this problem, but links do show up for some people . Not sure what that means, but I thought you should be aware.😢
Interesting 🧐. Should be in the description
It does for me, and best of luck.
thank you!
Hi Kerry,
My house burned down in California a few years ago.
The land is out in the country, so I want something that fits there, not a chrome and glass rectangular fishbowl.
I know modern style homes are your preference, but could you please help find more cottage style homes, such as the Alumhouse "Nordic" that you featured in a prior video?
Thank you, Mike
Prices sound reasonable if you live on one of the coasts. But, if you live in middle America, these homes are still pricey.
I found out the hard way that I was allergic to sunscreen with zinc oxide in it. Nothing ruins a vacation faster than a blistering rash.
Use a mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin rather than a chemical sunscreen.
I will try it, thanks
KERRY, why don't you have pre fab homes like say under 100,000 dollars that people on ssi can afford, like a lot of square footage for less money $200,000 is not affordable housing for alot of people. Thanks
Hi Ruth, I’m always on the lookout for affordable options
Now if only they could be affordable
Yeah that would be great
Try softer lighting.
The light has warn or cool, which way should I go? Or just less?
@@KerryTarnow Warm it up.
Thanks for sharing!!
Perbelle spf 43 cc cream
Thank you 🙌🏼
you can talk about affordble housing more than 100 per sq ft, you can talk about affordable housing with a 2 floor structure; so, as far as i can tell, the subject was never addressed.
Thank you for the feedback
How are any of these in the Affordable Category? Not!!
No retinol products… thank you thats all great info

Thanks for watching
" Inspired by Aerospace " which means expensive, cramped and late arriving.
When are these innovations going to make a real difference to people having access to affordable housing?
