Considering the price difference between the two, the iPhone SE makes a pretty compelling argument for why you should buy it, especially if you like smaller smartphones. 2016 for Christmas I was in year 6 and my dad got me a Nokia lumia. I told my close friends but I was embarrassed to tell anyone else and I didn't bring it to school. For my birthday which was in august and it's already past, I begged my mother for an iPhone and I'm now going into high school happy:)

I would definitely prefer the SE over the 6s mainly due to it's size. I have an iPhone 5 already, and I honestly love both the design and size of this phone, so I wouldn't want to trade that for a bigger screen. The fact that you can hardly even operate the 6s with one hand is enough to keep me from buying it. Even if the iPhone 6s has a couple of features that the SE doesn't have doesn't really matter, as I didn't even have them in the first place on the iPhone 5, so I wouldn't even know what I'd be missing.
Also the price is considerably lower for a phone, that is in many ways identical to the 6s.

Oh, well I don't have it yet, so I can't really tell you (yet). Lol. I ordered mine by phone, you see what happened was that I had bought my very first iPhone back in December 2014, iPhone 5s (which by the way I loved), but the thing that happened was that it crashed on me. It happened when I was trying to open up the RUclips app (lol the irony), the app crashed on me, I go and try opening the app up again and then my phone just decides to freeze up on me, I try turning it off and wouldn't you know it, it ends up giving me the BSOD :'( I try turning it back on, the apple logo appears then disappears and the screen goes completely black. I couldn't get it replaced since the 1 year apple warranty that it came with had already passed and well I was stuck with a defective iPhone. But thankfully, I was up for an upgrade, placed my order and will soon get my SE, May 18 :) Honestly, I'm excited and can't wait ^^ Haha sorry about the long reply XD

Really? Ppl care on the front camera mega pixel, no 3D touch, and slower finger print scanner. These unnecessary features don't do shit to the phone. I just want a decent performance on a small phone.

The SE is a great addition to the smartphone market. It won't be attractive to some, but that's to be expected, since no phone will please everyone, that's what variety in the market is for.
People who buy the SE are gonna be ones who like the small form factor without sacrificing on performance. Like Juan said, with a few exceptions, this phone has higher specs than the 6, and it cost even less.
Kinda reminds me of when Porsche released the Cayman GT4, and people started wondering why the should buy the more expensive 911 when the former can outperform it in certain ways, unless they buy the higher end 911 models. Those higher end 911s would represent the iPhone 6S, which are better, but cost quite a lot more.
Anyways, all these analogies aside, I think it's completely okay if people buy the SE, they have their reasons for it. And if people don't, they have their reasons too. I've said this many times before and I'll say it again, there's no right or wrong in what you choose, just the choice that suits your needs and liking best, and whether that's an SE, 6S, or a completely different device running Android, it's completely up to you, as long as you like it n_n

David Dietsch I've been a Windows user for as long as I can remember, from Windows Mobile 6.5 on a HTC HD, to Windows 8 & 8.1 on a Lumia 525, and now I'm currently on Window 10 Mobile Insider Preview with my Lumia 830 to report bugs before the official release of Redstone in summer. So yeah, Windows ^^
But if your question was regarding the iPhones, I'd take the SE. I'm still loving the old 5S design, and it's nice to have a display you can easily use with one hand. 3D Touch is great, but it's not really a deal breaker for me if the device doesn't have one, and the 12MP main camera is good enough for me. Selfie cam is only 1.2MP, but I've never even taken a selfie, so I don't need it (look at my Lumia, it's got a 0.9MP selfie cam and I don't even care 😂 ). So yeah, for me at least, if I was using iOS, I'd be more than happy to have an SE n_n
What about for android samsung? I have the iphone 5s and I'm not a big technology fan...Newbie here:) I use my phone for music, occasional web browsing, and occasionally social media and navigation quite a bit. I just like things that are quality, that work great, and lasts. All opinions welcome!

I am currently looking for a pocket sized phone and the iPhone SE has the best features. Other companies don't even bother to manufacture phones under 5 inches.

iphone 7 Plus 850$ for 128GB
For me I chose SE because it fits in my pocket alot better and also because I recently purchased a iPad pro 9.7 so for phone i don't need a huge one. Because if I need a bigger screen I can switch over to iPad Pro 9.7. SE is perfect FOR ME.

The SE looks amazing, and even tho it is not quite as good as the 6S, smaller battery, Face camera not as good, but it has the same pixel density and I prefer a smaller screen, I used an iPhone 6 before and it was just too big.
Also it's a lot cheaper and there are not many differences it's only slightly less good, but for $250 cheaper it's better overall

Not true. Many components in the 6s are featured in the SE and the only downside I truly see is the FaceTime camera.

I own the iPhone 6 and plan on swapping out the sim chip for the SE. I actually prefer the, non-slippery, smaller one-handed design.

I also think iOS as an operating system is more suited to smaller screens anyway.

I switched from 6s to se , at first it's kinda difficult to get use to the small screen but SERIOUSLY se is waaaaaay better , huge difference on the battery and so easy to use With one hand !

I don't like Apple but it seem that Apple made it were you can see just how much the 6s is a joke. I know there isn't no 3D touch but honestly that feature can be put out and isn't a game changer. I would pick the SE. Most Iphone fans like there small iPhones and the SE brings it with the same crap the 6s brings just about and is $100 to $150 cheaper than the 6s.
One year later and the SE is still relevant- this video actually influenced my decision to get one. Most of the pertinent perks of the iPhone experience at a reasonable cost. Thanks for providing some perspective on both devices.

I agree, the only part that looks better about the 6/6s in my opinion is how smoothly the glass curves to the metal sides, otherwise the SE is better.

Been using my rose gold SE for a couple years now. Got it because it was "cheaper" than some other Apple iPhones but way more advanced than my 4S. (Wonder whether it's paid for yet. AT&T would know, but afraid to ask my husband.) Still love it. Tiny and light enough to carry everywhere. Amazing camera. Excellent audio. Beautiful as a piece of jewelry. Etc., etc, etc.
The 6 doesn't only have a bigger screen than the SE, it also has a better screen with better viewing angles and contrast.

The Iphone SE was my first Iphone ever, and I love it! I have always had small sized Android and I liked my Droids, but wanted to try apple since the 07 release. The SE is the perfect starter Apple phone for any person interested in trying Apple or a smart phone in general for the first time.

It would just depend on which size of phone you want. Personally I have been growing to really enjoy the larger screen of the iPhone 6. There are still people though who would love to have the smaller display phone. It is iOS so when it comes down to software pretty much any of the phone within the last couple of years in terms of hardware are going to function really quickly

i noticed the 6s is slightly faster when browsing, especially when playing videos. it's subtle and pretty insignificant, but noticeable if side by side which i checked in a couple different stores. i'm not sure i understand the comment that the SE has "beefier guts inside". it seemed like it actually was the same minus a couple things like the quicker fingerprint scanner, force touch, and facetime camera. in any case, the most interesting thing to me is that they decided to call it an iphone 5 SE instead of making an iphone 6s mini, though i guess it was more costly to do the latter. i'm definitely torn. the SE is great for one handed use (my thumb can reach everyone on the screen), but the 6s might be a slightly better longer term investment. both phones have pro's and con's. if you want your phone to be heavy on browsing, then a bigger screen is better. if you want your phone to be more of a pocket/texting/light browsing device, then the SE might be the winner. oh, and right now i have an iphone 5 from feb 2013, so yea, i'm due. battery and charging port on the phone are fading.

Which one has better wifi connection and battery life. I want a 6s for the bigger screen, but I'm used to small screens, but wifi and battery life are gonna be the main things that make me decide on which one.
Internet should be better on 6S because it has LTE advanced. Battery life is better on SE because it's smaller and has a lower resolution screen which takes less power.

i would recommend se which is much better than one plus 3 as i had seen comparing both the devices side by side n u cnt compete one plus vth se/6s as these r really fast n v r having some minor problems with one plus camera so i would not recommend that phone n believe me u vl njoy iphone when compared to one plus 3.

Weirdly, this is the most exciting phone on the market right now! It'll be extremely interesting to see how sammy etc respond. I'm still dismayed about the lack of iteration in the styling, but as a throw-in-the-bag travel phone, it's hard to imagine anything better right now.

Loved it. There so many iPhone SE reviews but this one made it clear why Apple decided to make this phone and it's specific purpose.
I chose the se it's powerful little beast that has all my needs and the battery life it's outstanding I got though standby time lasts for 5 days if you don't use it a lot and the design is wonderful to hold.
If I like the model for the se but I like the 3d touch on the 6s which one should I get?

I'm trying to figure out which phone should I buy.. Either an iPhone SE with 64GB , or an iPhone 6s with 64GB... I clicked on this video thinking that it would help me on my decision but I'm still confused on which one should I get.. Please help me
If I were you, I would go straight for the 6s it is the real MVP u get a better resolution with THE FLAGSHIP FEATURE 3d touch plus a decent front facer. There are no second thoughts. period
It depends how deep is your pocket too ; )
Unless you really want the larger screen (or 3D Touch for that matter) get the SE. It's basically a 6s with a smaller screen, no 3D Touch, and a worse front camera (which has been serviceable tbh, if you're a selfie lover the 6s has a better front camera).
