I’ve had my iPhone 6S for about 5 or so years now and it’s really held up for how old it is. The battery is giving out along with the charging port so I’ve been looking for a good replacement. The SE 3 definitely looks like a good fit for me cuz I don’t really care for all the crazy new stuff the newest iPhones have, and I just want a slightly faster phone, so this one looks like it’ll be a great fit for me. Thanks for the vid! It was super helpful and really solidified my decision before the holidays :)
I’m nearly a year late, but I’ve replaced both of those and they cost me a total of $23. $20 for the battery, $3 for the charging port. The iPhone 6s is surprisingly easily to work on.
But let's be honest. Isn't like worlds slower. It is still manageable on the iPhone 6s. Yes it is slower but really it isn't so bad. There is some phones that stutter lag like crazy. And those phones are newer. So the 6S is still doing still good for such an old phone.
People just down play the SE 3 I actually compared se 3 and 11 both at 98% BA and the SE was Dusting the 11,I think that's bcuz of the A15 magic😂😂😂 And according to what I'm seeing it also has better camera quality than the XS Max, maybe even the same as the 11
The 6s is still a pretty good phone. Battery life is not the greatest, nor is it the fastest. But, they do work and get the job done. They can also be picked up on the cheap as well without breaking the bank. If anything…..at least for a backup iPhone.
So I could buy a phone that looks the same as the one I've used for 7 years and also loose the headphones jack in change of software updates. Wonderful.
Still have the 6S I was shocked it has iOS version 15 something. The camera is better than the camera of my Samsung Galaxy which is a 2021 model. I also have an old Galaxy from 2015, same age as the 6S but its software is less functional and ancient compared to the iPhone.
@@adithyaresik7273 it’s great everything load super fast, apps open faster, my only complaint is 5G seems to freeze a lot so I normally just keep it on LTE, battery life way better and it charges faster

Honestly makes me happy to buy a 6s. Other than ios 16 support, the 6s is basically an SE. Basically if you want a headphone jack get a 6s, if you want wireless charging get a SE 3rd gen.
I don’t know what’s wrong but there’s something wrong with that 6S because I run the same test on mine and mine is just as fast or even a little faster in a few apps you opened except I couldn’t text shortcuts cause I didn’t happen to have that on mine but when you were opening your Apple TV app I had to count Quickly because mine was so fast I managed to get to 2 where your SE I got a count to 7. I am running 13.2 .2 so it might be less bulky OS but I would figure a new device Should run just as fast even on a higher OS . I wonder what the slow down on that 6S was from. Makes me not wanna update this because From this 6S to that 6S there’s no freaking way it should be that bad a difference between OS.
I’m ex 6S owner. Currently use iPhone 11 and really enjoy it. I hope that in one day apple back to curved design. I don’t like holding bricks. CurvedDesign4ever

I assume everyone watching this is like me... I don't need anything more then the 6s offers... don't want to spend $1k+ on a phone. The stupid updates have broken my 6s ability to turn the screen sideways so texting or making a video a bit larger gone... I cannot STAND this, lol! I cannot text unless the phone is sideways, my hands are to big!

You should updated to iOS 15 I can see it’s running 14 based off the maps icon! That is where you should really compare them.

We can tell its running ios 14. update it to 15.4 then compare them. otherwise its pointless to compare. beta versions of ios have bad performance.
i was going to say, my 6s is on ios 15.4 and i did the opening app test with the video, and my 6s was significantly faster then his 6s in the video.

I bought the iphone 6s as a gift for my sister.. It's a great phone.
Battery on this 6s is wasted. From 45% to below 30% in less than five minutes.
I have the 6S it gets super hot and battery dies fast, also things load slow. Getting iPhone SE 3 tomorrow.
