  • It's my first time visiting Zion Riverside Food Centre and I'm sharing everything I'm trying with you in this video. I tried the famous No.18 Zion Road Fried Kway Teow as well as kway chap, prawn mee, xiao long bao and Szechuan spicy wanton. What's more - I had a test drive of the UNIQLO AIRism set while hunting for great hawker food, and was left dry and comfortable after 3 hours of filming.
This video was filmed during Phase 3. Now dining-in is banned but we can still support our hawkers by ordering for takeaway. Let's eat!
Thanks to UNIQLO for sponsoring this video and helping our local hawkers by distributing AIRism masks to keep them safe and cool!

Although it may seem like Ghib is just enjoying his food, he 's actually doing the hawkers a huge favour , given the fact that he 's a well-known youtuber patronising these stalls, he 's promoting their businesses, which is very helpful during the pandemic.

Not all kway chap stalls sell with braised duck. The soup base for those without duck is usually not "herby". That's a lot of food! Usually when I make avocado with gula melaka at home, that would be my meal LOL.

To all, kindly take note, as Ghib-San mentioned in the video description, this video is taken during Phase 3.
As Ghib-San mentioned also, the prawn noodle's broth is so good because of the crushed prawn heads, but pork bones are also used and it is very important!!! If there are freshly fried crispy pork lard and shallots, it will be a 9.5/10 satisfactory meal!!!
Same goes with the Char Kway Teow!!! Freshly fried crispy pork lard is a must!!! Char Kway Teow with freshly fried crispy pork lard are match made in heaven!!! 😍😍😍

You need to try adding lemon or sour plum to the sugar cane drinks. New level of layered tastes. Just tell the stall to add.
