My next Kitplane..wanted something that I can build quick (4 months or less) and use for recreational flying and some light backcountry work! Thanks for the great video!!!
That is the husband owner builder who probably financed the business. She is the wife who is used to doing all the talking for the family who now is the marketing and sales department.
Wow MOJOGRIP you have bin showcasing some really awesome plains, I need to win the dam superlotto to have me my own hanger with a couple of toys. Yall having way to much fun.
Nice that it's easy to build. I get the purpose of the wires and struts but just seems to me it's easier to have that bit of strength in the wing so you don't need that complexity. And I wonder if a lower wing would't be the better stol plane because the ground effect is even closer. We are used to stol plane having this boxy colonial era shape but I wonder if the double curved shape of a teardrop glider style fuselage couldn't be strong as a single thin shell of carbon fiber, thus as light or lighter than a fabric plane yet have great aerodynamic shape. The ideal is a combination of ultra low landing speed and high cruise. I wouldn't be surprised if a 2 seater 912uls stol plane could cruise at 330km/h. Or in other words, you couldn't tell it's a stol plane other than having slightly chubby feet.
High wing planes are used for STOL/Bush planes to help keep the wings protected from hitting stuff on the ground in an off field landing. It's part of the reason a lot of them are taildraggers as well (keeps the prop from hitting things).
Can someone tell me why the term is "Bush" as opposed to "Brush" ? Did the name come out of a local dialog such as the upper northwest of the American-Canadian continent? I've always thought it's a reference to raw fields or a given unimproved woodsy area that can accommodate STOL.
They just showed you!!! Compare this build to the TSi that MojoGrip is building and you'll realize just how simple this one is to build quickly enough.
@OBAMA STOLE MY TOUPEE similar kits in this class. There are cheaper kits on the market and plans and instructions to make your own plane wich is cheaper then 30k.On top of that theres ikarus c22 wich is at the price range of 4k
Wow, I'm loving this plane. Very robust and simple, economical, and STOL. It looks like my short list on my first plane just grew between this and the Aventura II. Both can be rigged to land on water, but I prefer the flying boat design over floats. Floats can dig in and flip the plane - a flying boat is never going to do that, so it can land in a bit rougher conditions.
Why are you people so damned lazy? Do a google search yourself, and stop expecting other people to go fetch the information for you. They told you on the video that they have a website.
Egh it’s ugly and 300ft isn’t that impressive for a fully fabric plane the has vortex generators. It would be ok if it went fast but it doesn’t do well there either. Personally I would just get a kit fox or cub or anything other than that
This costs less (waaaaayyyyy less than a Carbon Cub!) and can be built way faster than a Kitfox, that's the draw. I'm most interested in the Rans S21 Outbound. Seems like a great mix of faster build time, STOL performance, cruise speed and cost. Factory says it will go together in 550 hrs, takeoff in 325ft and cruise up to 155mph with a Titan 340 180hp engine. Not an LSA in that config, but I don't care about LSA or not.
A beautiful budget airplane
Tremendous craft! I want one!
... very practícal and good options as a kit this beautiful bushbird !
Ahh I really like the Bushcat, especially the tailwheel version!
I really want to get a bush plane and this one seems to hit everything I am looking for in a bush plane. Thanks for sharing :)
I wanna get one working ma way there will get there nodoubt babe

Thanks for the great video!!!
Very cool but, I wonder what is that guy doing standing there with is hands on the pockets or touching the propeller during the presentation?

Wow. I kind of like this one too.
Thanks so much for the introduction. What is the useful load with a full tank?
Man, that lady KNOWS her business. And that airplane is really an advance over most other old style fabric covered types out there.
Wow MOJOGRIP you have bin showcasing some really awesome plains, I need to win the dam superlotto to have me my own hanger with a couple of toys. Yall having way to much fun.

Can this plane be trailered? If so how long to set up the wings for flight?
How is the noise level compared to traditional fabric planes like Aerotrek? Also how does it hold up in sun? Thx.
What’s the prop clearance on the nose wheel model? It looks like about 6”.
This plane is amazing in an amphib float plane on you tube.
In France we have some serious ultralight bush plane builders like Guérin and Humbert Aviation. Hope one day it will cross the Atlantic 😁
Hi and thanx. Kindly send me their websites addresses. I am in south Africa and we love Bush aircrafts

Very nice Plane!
Except for those two old pot engines: rods and barbells yet??

In my part of Western Canada, the back country is known as the Bush. As in I own a cabin in the bush.

How much this plane? Is this affordable, where can i buy this?
Watch the video, then try again.
But how fit is it for beginner homebuilders?

I love that you can buy already built from the factory.
