    Not an IFR aircraft. Extremely light. The Rotax motors would put this in the near vertical takeoff category. Perfect for a ranch owner, hunter, fisherman etc

      i can tell you that at full power it is nigh on impossible to power on stall it.. in fact during my checkride we had to go to about 55-60 percent power to get it to break

    let me be real. I have been saving money since 2018 For a new Airplaine . I went to oshkosh 2023 and bought one , with all the money I have to buy outright, I had to back out deal 2 weeks Later ,because there is no place to put it here in Florida. the waitlist is 5year out, Icalled every single airstrip 3 h from my house.... Don't be excited to buy an airplane in Florida, check your area before commit Like I did.... I Flew with Danielle and I Loved the plane..... My dreams are burning in hell right now

    Wonder if mosaic rules will put pressure on manufacturers to build different designs and add weight to their planes?

    • @walterrawdanik8077
      @walterrawdanik8077 10 месяцев назад

      It certainly will - doesn’t mean the old style LSAs (1320 lbs) will no longer have customers but the pool will get smaller as a lot of Sport Pilot flying folks will jump to higher gross options - one way they can compete is on price …

    • @mauriceevans6546
      @mauriceevans6546 10 месяцев назад

      @walterrawdanik8077 yes. They will probably be the cheapest option available. Manufacturers are already building planes in expectations of the rule becoming law. Texas aircraft company just released news on their new light sport four place stallion with 200hp continental engine or the new European model from gogetair with four seats and doors that open like a cirrus. Bushcat is great from low and slow. I want to get from coast to coast and I will be looking at faster models, maybe even the shark( 200mph cruise), tarragon ( 180mph cruise), TL stream( 180 mph cruise). There are going to be so many different models that will blow the doors off what I am used to as a sport pilot.

      @@mauriceevans6546 The innovation of this plane is in the ease and economy of construction. Can this construction method on a bigger design hold up at 140-150kts and four adults and luggage under the proposed rules? If so, they would have a winner even at 120kts.

    • @mauriceevans6546
      @mauriceevans6546 10 месяцев назад

      @steven2145 I don't think they have plans to do anything to the frame. They have their market and I am not sure the frame will hold anything heavier and the skin will hold up to higher speeds.

    How to sell boring parasol planes to a market that tanked a long time ago.
    Add big phat tires to them and call them an ATV.
    Most newbies can't even land at an airport without crashing and burning, let alone a stand bar.

    My advice is, before you even think of building a plane like this, is to take a ride in a regular parasol Taildragger plane like a Cessna 170-172 and do at least one grass landing in them. It's got to be a taildragger and on grass, where you can't see forward over the nose when landing. You will find it's one h3ll of a terrifying experience and a whole lot of rudder pedal action by an experienced pilot. Just one landing in ideal conditions on plain old straight grass unable to see forward at allwill make you change your mind about his entirely.
    They don't tell you this crrp in the airplane videos. I don't even know how to describe the experience. Like a roller coaster that has lost it's brakes and is coming off the tracks.
    Taking off, no problem. Flying straight and level, kind of scary but also incredibly boring like you are just hanging in the air like a baloon.. until you hit turbulence and then it's like being a marble in a clothes dryer.
    My advice. Go FPV quadcopter and practice in a sim for several thousand hours. I wouldn't set foot in an airplane now with any pilot that hasn't spent several thousand hours in the sim. Can they fly, sure. Will they know what to do in an inverted flat spin or when they lose all elevator control. Probably not. Or any one of the millions of other scenarios they never practices because all they've done so far is straight and level flying.

    • @peteranderson037
      @peteranderson037 10 месяцев назад +1

      FPV quadcopters and simulators do jack squat for stick and rudder training or unusual attitudes. There are also plenty of taildraggers that you can see perfectly fine over the cowl while sitting on the ground. It's only when you get to the bigger ones where forward visibility is an issue.

    • @MS-nj9le
      @MS-nj9le 10 месяцев назад

      @@peteranderson037 Compared to doing aerobatics in a quadcopter, lfying a pokey a55 airplane is like driving a farm tractor. The stick movements are the same, aileron, pitch, rudder, throttle. What more do you need to know. A good FPV pilot could destroy the best redbull pilot.. both in a Pitts. Destroy.
