    Then this recipe is for you. During this winter try out this simple recipe of Sindhi Vado/ Dryfruits Chikki /Energy Bar.
    Ingredients
    1. Sugar 450 gm
    2. Cashew nuts 100 gm
    3. Almonds 100 gm
    4. Pistachio 25 gm
    5. Dry coconut 75 gm
    6. Muskmelon seeds 1 tbsp
    7. Poppy seeds/ Khaskhas 2 tbsp
    8. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
    9. Lemon juice few drops
    10. Clarified Butter/ Ghee 2 tbsp
    11. Oil for greasing
    12. Pistachio flakes for garnishing
    Method
    1. Cut All dry fruits into small pieces and dry coconut into thin slices.
    2. Grease a plate or tray to set the vado/ chikki.
    3. Heat a pan, add clarified butter/ ghee, let it melt, add almonds, cashew nuts and pistachios and shallow fry them for a minute on low flame then add coconut slices and roast them for a minute and then add muskmelon seeds and poppy seeds and roast them for a while.
    4. Take them out on a plate.
    5. Heat a pan, add 1 tablespoon ghee, let it melt, add sugar and a few drops of lemon juice and let the sugar melt first on medium-low flame then on low flame.
    6. As soon as the sugar melts completely, add cardamom powder and switch off the flame.
    7. Add roasted dry fruits and mix well.
    8. Pour the mixture into the pre-greased plate or tray.
    9. Spread the mixture evenly and flat it and garnish with pistachio flakes.
    10. If you want to cut vado/ chikki in pieces then make marks now.
    11. Now let the vado/ chikki cool down a little, not completely.
    12. Free the vado/ chikki from the sides and bottom as shown in the video.
    13. Take out the vado/chikki.
