Hi, I don’t know of a way to disable the blue light unfortunately. You could open up the headphones and put some black tape over the LED. That should help 😉
I just bought the refurbished version of these from Harmon for $20. Wow! best $20 I ever spent. These things are great and sound like headphone that cost 3 or 4 times as much.

Could the noise come from one of the hinges? If so a small drop of oil should help.
