Battery Replacement for JBL TUNE Headphones 510BT (How to DIY)

- In this video we explain how to replace the Battery on JBL TUNE 510BT headphones.
First remove the ear pad of the left ear cup by carefully pulling it off.
Underneath we find three small Phillips screws, which we have to remove. Afterwards we can detach the cover / driver assembly. Make sure to be careful when doing this, since there is a wire connecting the cover with the rest of the housing.
Now we already have access to the battery. Disconnect it from the small PCB and remove the battery from the housing.
Install the replacement battery and reassemble everything in reverse order. Make sure not to pinch any of the wires during the assembly.

once I had the volume button stuck and that didnt let me turn on/off the headset, I used your video to dissasembly and re asemble and could adjust the button inside then everything worked fine, thanks for sharing!

After I replaced the battery exactly according to the video, the red light does not stay on permanently, but comes on for a few seconds, then off and so on.

Usually they all can. As long as you can find a matching battery for it.
There is no battery replacement, I contacted every major battery company in the UK that specialises on replacement. There are no replacements anywhere in the world. JBL have an agreement with a Chinese battery company that is priority. Good luck everyone, you will never find a replacement, other than buying another headphone set!
all bateries ive seen on ebay hav 2 wires. this one has 3. wats the yelow wire for?

My JBL Tune 510BT deals alright until i fold in the R speaker, it shuts down and when i connect it to the charger, the LED blinks Red 4 Times
Hi, what an odd behavior. It sounds like there’s something wrong with one of the wires. Maybe one of them got damaged close to the right hinge?

So, you got ALL this from 1 simple question. There's absolutely ZERO need to be THIS loathsome. Saying ppl are ungrateful, entitled and useless is a ridiculous and unwarranted statement. The batteries are hard to find so i think better to not buy JBL next time
