Kevin is getting massive wow and cranky, you used to take him out of his enclosure to see him now you go in his enclosure to see him and he’s the boss in his house. Love that boy
Yes true but you see if he really wanted to bite Chandler he would do it. He's just showing who's the boss in his home. But you can see it that Chandler still has control because they know each other so much. If it was someone else that person would very likely be bitten by Kevin.
@@Kvs-vf9nt I totally agree I was just making a logical statement which is when you’re inside an enclosure the animal will be more defensive and it would be best to take him out of his enclosure every so often to keep him tame. It’s happened many times before that an animal gets a walk in enclosure and once super docile becomes very aggressive because the owner only goes in to the enclosure instead of taking them out like they would with the smaller enclosure. You’re essentially changing the scenario for the snake. You’re now going inside their home of course you can expect some defensive behaviour but that can quickly turn into an unsafe place for the owner ie Chandler. All I’m saying is it would be wise to take him out of his enclosure to interact with him often before his brain switches up, more so than going inside. Look I bet Chandler does do that I don’t know his life unless it’s shared on videos so he could very well be taking Kevin out of his enclosure all the time.

All snakes are ( even is it's just sometimes) defensive in there enclosure. My California Kingsnake male never has bitten or musked on me(And he's 3years young, and I have him since he was only 6 weeks young). You know what he does if he wants to be left alone? He just pushes me away with his body when going into his enclosure. (It's quite hilarious actually🤦♂️🤣) Anyway have a good day/night.👍

Chandler has said several times that Kevin is more territorial now that he has his own big enclosure. He actually told us that before he moved him there, so it's no surprise. The 'aggressive' behavior we see in this video is his territorial display.
Defensive and territorial yes, Aggressive no. The cage was built with the fact that Kevin will exhibit more natural behaviours like defending a territory. Kevin knows that people exist and are not food, its more of a "get out of my room" then "I want you dead." If Kevin wanted to kill someone he would just bite, not charge at someone constantly.
You should make some pendant kits with the sheds so people can make their own necklaces, sell the kits and make profit for the facility to help care for the animals❤️

Not that I want to see you get tagged, or even have upset snakes, but it is good to see in your videos that these dangerous creatures are not ALWAYS easy to handle. I give you a lot of credit for explaining to viewers (espescially new ones) that you have done this for a bit and are adept at reading body language and viewers should not emulate what you do in your videos. Sometimes, you make it look so easy, I think some people may think it is not that difficult. Actually seeing you working with Skittles and having to put thought and effort into it may be a good message. Yeah, I say do not do what I do, but here is an example of why. Keep up the great work, your snakes and crocodilians are gorgeous!! The camels are heart-warming and Begoy is fascinating!!

I love seeing all the Chandler kids. I really admire the regalness of the king cobras and of course the crocs and alligators. You have amazing reflexes Chandler, but I think you should take some yoga classes to stay limber especially as you age.
