BEST CONCERT IN THE WORLD !
"Drums completely overshadowed my life from the age of 13, when I started drum lessons. Everything disappeared. I had been doing well in school up to that point. I was quite socially adjusted up to that point. And I became completely monomaniacal, obsessed throughout my adolescence. Nothing else existed.
Playing a three-hour Rush show is like running a marathon while solving equations."
( Neil Peart ) About batteries
From the first chord, tears started streaming down my face. This band is prog rock royalty. I miss the hell out of Neil, and he should be so proud of the legacy he left us. He is one of those icons who will live forever through amazing performances like this. He was one of a kind. All of this does not diminish Geddy and Alex in the least who are true artists and icons in their own right. These 3 guys transcend what a rock star is. They are so much more than that. Thank you for posting this beautiful performance.
:) best band on galaxy 🌌
Me too man, just incredible!
Rush IS progressive rock!
saw this tour 6 times.. wish I could've seen it 60
Concuerdo contigo.solo no.creo que RUSH ejecutará rock progresivo
I keep coming back to this concert and I’m absolutely blown away with every visit. Thank you for posting this in such a fantastic quality!
I saw them 7 times over the years. They never disappointed. Signals was my first tour.
MONSTER musicians! And you can sense their sense of humor, camaraderie, and close friendship! Been a fan since 1976, and have seen them live over 60 times! RUSH 4ever!
{* } Rush is a superb band. That's just so very obvious. However, they were and are, much more than that that. They weren't crazy rock stars into the drugs, excessive alcohol, and sleeping with women everywhere. All 3 happily married, they conducted themselves with utmost class, integrity, honesty, and humor. God bless the brilliant " Rocket Scientist, Neil, ( RIP ), Geddy, and Alex.‼️‼️‼️👍👍⬆️❤️✝️💯🎖🎖🎖
You might want to read Geddy Lee's recent memoir. There is plenty of drug and alcohol usage mentioned.
Simply put...these guys drove joy into people's hearts!
Timeless & Classic. Can never stop listening to Rush. Best 3 men group!
it's 2023 , and still , there is RUSH , and then there is everybody else .
Such a epic band. Saw them twice on the Presto tour. Seattle and than Vancouver B.C. great memories.
The only 3 piece band that sounds like a symphony!!
This was the show just prior to me seeing them in Auburn Hills, Mich. It was incredible!
Nobody opens a concert better than Rush. Miss them dearly. R.I.P. Professor
Wow. Geddy's bass solo on Leave That Thing Alone was incredible. He is a force of nature on the bass.
One of the best shows, ever. On this planet.
Thanks for the good quality upload!
:)
I wasn't at this concert but i was at R40 in Vancouver and met Geddy and Alex. Still one of the best days of my life
I've seen a lot of Rush concerts but these guys seem like they're really having fun during this show. Great concert!
If a better three man rock band has ever graced a stage, this rock aficionado has not yet seen them. Rush is truly a band for the ages, a band’s band as one might say. The respect they have earned not only from millions of fans but also from many of the finest rock musicians around is unparalleled. we will never see their like again and I for one count myself infinitely blessed for having seen them for 40+ years.
(BTW, is there a more uplifting, soaring song in the rock canon than “Marathon.”)
Crikar - Be advised, putting commercials in the middle of the show and songs of Rush, especially this concert, should be a FELONY ‼️‼️‼️
Alex smiles at Neil during Subdivisions and says "halfway."
saw Presto (1990 Charlotte Coliseum) and Clockwork Angels (2012 Bankers Life Fieldhouse) and (2013 Riverbend )
1990 in charlotte was my first rush show! saw every tour after that. some multiple times, 23 total shows. nothing will ever match seeing the trinity live!
You know, I never noticed how much Geddy changed the bassline to YYZ over the years. It shreds so hard here compared to the album version (which is also awesome).
NO OTHER ROCK BAND GETS PEOPLE ON THERE FEET LIKE THESE THREE. RUSHS MUSIC IS UN EVERYBODYS DNA ❤❤❤❤❤
Its amazing the amount of wonderful noise those three made. Seeing them live was always an awesome experience. RIP Neal, you are missed but not forgotten.
I was introduced to rush in 1982 by my friend Dominic Kim in Palos Verdes CA. I then purchased the signals album and went to see the signals to her at Long Beach arena the only rush concert I have ever seen because a few years later I moved to Hawaii and lost touch with the world. But i am so happy that youtube carries all these concerts so that i can see them. Thank God for these three geniuses. Oh yeah.
Holy fuck, what an insane show and what amazing energy these guys are ... phew!!!!! RUSH kick ass up and down the block!
"Stick It Out" Live on Here Is Better than the Studio !!!
I saw them on this tour in Tampa with my dad in 2010. That remains one of the greatest nights of my life.
CLEVELAND ROCKS WITH OUR FRIENDS FROM THE GREAT WHITE NORTH !!!!! RUSH ❤❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🙏🇺🇸
There with my 3 sons (youngest 10 yrs old).....#1 DAD
Man how many thousands of people were there?
Was there with my oldest daughter. Apr 15 2011, US tax day. Drove out from Pittsburgh for it. Great show.
Fantastic show, just 3 guys sounds like milions! Thanks neil for awesome lyrics!
Saw them back in 1978 and 1979 on the A Farewell to Kings and then Hemispheres tours. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Loved them then, still love them, RIP Neil Peart.
The best band in the fucking world, I'm never tire to enjoy this, If I have childrens i'll share them the rush music
THE BEST EARLY TEACHING MUSICALLY SPEAKING, BIG DECISION
It's so crazy. You hear song after song by them, but then hear another and another and another and realize what a phenomenal catalog they have, and I mean of DAMN GOOD songs, and just what a phenomenal group they were. Then you realize there'll never, and I mean NEVER, be another group like them again. And then ya thank God you were alive at the same time as them
Today is the first day I have ever listened to any RUSH song by my own choice! Yeah heard them on the radio and occasionally Ina a bar jukebox! But after three diddies in , I concluded am an accidental life long fan . This is a thank you to an old band, from a new fan ! Peace and love to the living and the dead. C’est la vie.
WOW!! Rush is an easy love for most 'Heads!!! They are my two faves!!
These guys are athletes with a set list like that......wow... awsome, crowd deffinetly got their money outta that concert.(To the generation behind me).....The Bar has been set,
Neil @ 52:32 & 2:37:44 😂🤣😢😢
Freewill expression and emotion ! Neil the master of precision ! The Prof of the Drum!
I'm so glad I went to this show of their time machine tour as they were all playing at the top of their powers and even Ged was sounding great as he wasn't having the problems the all singers like him have later on in their career but the show I went to, was the boys spot on!
Saw these guys in the spring of 1983 at the Summit in Houston. Joining me were 2 of my high school buddies. Bryan and Darrel! Rush opened with THE SPIRIT of RADIO, and their 2nd encore was WORKING MAN. Good Times!
WATCHING GEDDY LEE DANCE AROUND ON SUBDIVISIONS MAKES YOU THINK THAT HES A RUSH FAN TOO !!!! I CAN TELL HE LOVES HIS VERY OWN MUSIC !!!! LOL !!!!
Alex on the mini moog in time stand still 🔥🔥🔥
I was in fourth row in Irvine in 2010 and to see this live was awe inspiring.
Glad they played a couple songs from Clockwork Angels
When Neil says it's done, it's done.
not done yet, they still played some rush songs at both Taylor Hawkins tributes.
Missed my chance to see Rush in the late 70's Just didn't have the 9$ to go sad. I'm glad there are video's like this out there. I know it's not the same But fuck it I got to take what I can get.

I can't believe that this fantastic video has s been up for over 2 weeks and I am the 1st one to comment on it! I also can't believe that my watching of it is only the 80th viewing! The good news is, as of right now, it has 80 views and NO dislikes, but only 4 likes. What's up with that?
So if you read this message, reply and tell me what view number you were and how many likes & dislikes it has.😎👌🤟
Thanks men.. 🎄🎄🎅🎅

Saw them 3 times. Just wasn’t nowhere near enough!
Let us not forget why Rush is the best band of all time. (Beatles are the greatest... Rush is the best)
I've heard Freewill live so many times in the 40+ years listening to them, but listening again just now with the headphones....my God. That breakdown/solo section just sounds sooooo damn good!
The funny face Neil does to Geddy at the end of this section always gets me 😂
I seen the moving pictures tour in 1981.and then the signals tour.. but they played the album in full..plus Jacob's latter..and 2112..they were great..best concert I've ever seen
Amazing! RIP Neil, you were legendary!
Saw this tour in Frankfurt, only Rush show I managed to catch. Remember singing along for the first couple of songs and then just standing there in awe gazing at the stage. The quintessential three piece band and all of them masters in their own right. Best concert I ever went to. Followed closely by seeing Springsteen and each Iron Maiden show I went to. But these guys just blew it out of the park. 😁
Springsteen? YUCK.
No son de este mundo....o son lo ultimo de este jodeeerrrrr que maravillaaaaa❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The greatest live drum sound I've ever heard.
Lucky to see Rush on this tour, I hadn't missed any since Power Windows. I was so ill but managed one show, was the last Rush gig I ever saw
The immense amount of pure masterful music from three virtuosos, aided by lots of technology, is simply incredible.
We've come a long way from Grand Funk Railroad.
I saw them 7 times. Rest in peace professor you are surely missed.
Neil
The GOAT, no question
Saw the Allentown Pa 2010
I remember before seeing any video of Rush (or show) how I figured Neil HAD to have been a "finesse drummer" - not hitting very hard. My mouth dropped agape when I finally saw them. He RAPED his drums. It's amazing he could do that up until their last tour...
and he was 59 ys old this tour , that's saying something !
One of my fav. band ever and I NEVER EVER had the chance to see them live. They just dropped Norway everytime they were in Scandinavia. Sadly I'll never see them live.
First tour was hold your fire did lots of coca3 glad neil bowed out to spend time with his second fam3 thoughts to betty
Best Band in the Galaxy
Period
Viendo el video en 2023 y me da gusto la alegria que mostraban como equipo, como un grupo bien conformado. Rush Forever !!!
They always had a great sense of humor...you can feel the bond that they had.RUSH will ALWAYZ be.
1:28:40 Alex asks Geddy, 'Who me?' as if he's talking about him.
Que lastima !! 😪 ,que Rush dejo los escenarios ,pero lo bueno es que nos dejan sus joyas ,para toda la vida !!!!! VIVA RUSH !!!!
I unfortunatly never got to see them live. I regret that sooo much. But love watching the concerts on youtube. This is one of my favorite!!!!
ALL THESE FUCKIN ADDS
Phenominal concert, God bless Rush.
No Ps yo estaba por bajar avion pero viendo esto , pues aqui me quedo. un saludo
WOW! i can listen to these songs 100 times, I am more amazed every single time! Genius is what this band is! absolutely GENUIS!
RIP Neil Peart 😌!
I love how Alex dressed top-notch. It shows that he has total respect for his audience. And he looks great as well!
Simply the best.
We need a time machine, to be at the time machine tour.
I love Rush. Rest in peace Mr. Peart
Thanks so much for sharing. Still waiting spanish 🇪🇦 fans to enjoy Rush anytime 😢
Love alex the 4:35 mark matching his fatman characters moves to the drum beat
The introducement, I like very, and then follows better and better, the best rock music I have ever seen, started with with...
No wonder Peart was weary of fans - having to watch a couple of rows of grown men air drummers every night. Christ...
Rock solid
All hits aside, my red herrings were Ghost of a Chance during Snakes and Arrows tour and Presto during this tour. Unsung masterpieces
I regret not seeing Rush more. I saw the Roll the Bones tour and that was it. I hope they tour again and play these songs live with a drummer that will honor Neil.
they wont read Geddy's book they are done
@@aaronwilliams9705 I am reading it. It was written before he started talking about the possibility of a reunion after meeting Paul McCartney. We shall see.
Such a great band..literally the very best of the very best..my all time favorite 70s band.
the intro so funny tho
I absolutely loved the intro. So clever! I wouldn’t expect anything different from Rash I mean Rush!
Neil has two magic wands! Magical really !!
The greatest 2:45 in rock history...Queen Live Aid is a close second...
I never paid any attention to Rush, so, I never thought any band could top Queen's Live Aid performance. But I've been watching a lot of Rush lately, and you may just be correct. These guys do things I never thought was possible. I wish I had a time machine so I could go back and experience the whole ride with everyone else. Amazing stuff for sure!
Rush is like Bethoven of Heavy Metal Rock, old Heavy Metal Rock !
Imagine running into the record store in 1974 and buy an album ( remember those) just because of the album cover, it shouted RUSH, we said this has to be something, 65 years old and been an avid fan since then. Example of the best rock band in so many ways. By the way im black, just to show you how universal Rush is.
CRIKAR - - - REALLY ??? SERIOUSLY ??? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ??? !!!!! You claim to be a Rush fanatic. Let me tell you something. I was a Rush fan prior to you even being born. WHY, do I say these remarks ??? !!!! Let me be upright and honest. YOU DON'T, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, INSERT COMMERCIALS IN THE MIDDLE OF RUSH'S SONGS ‼️‼️‼️
@@Little_Muskrat13 are you ok ?…. 🤷🏽♂️
I do NOT know what may be at work with this particular video, but I have videos of my own on RUclips that come with annoying interruptions for commercials, and they were a result of RUclips. My channel is NOT monetized, but RUclips has added commercials as it sees fit.
@@crikarI'm fine, and trust you are as well. It's still an amazing concert however. 👍👍 I'm a bit passionate about this band, but. nonetheless, thank you for uploading this.
@@ferrisakel 😘
Thank you for the sticks Neil! 🥁
I love the brotherhood of the three
So I guess Canadians never made a great audience?
A friend of mine saw this show in Chicago and complained about the drum solo just being a note for note replay from the Exit Stage Left album. I found that hard to believe Neil would do that. Sure enough, ink my friend must have been on something.
Tell your friend to lay off the pipe.
This is a brilliant performance by the musically adept. One of the best bands of all time. You can feel this concert it. This music touches all senses.
How about the solos in free will? Incredible. I challenge anyone to find a better recorded live performance.
Are those Wilkinson trems added to the Les Pauls? Smart man.
I was so lucky to see that tour live! Can't believe how happy I felt there! 🎉
🙃
Well, there are things some people will never be given to experience - I see this performance as one of such things :(
Question … have any girl ever visited a Rush concert?
