I’m a Type 1 diabetic recently diagnosed and I was so scared to check my blood sugar and inject myself, he used to do it for me all the time but he always encouraged me to do it myself and pushed me and now I’m doing it myself all the time now. I never would have been able to do it without him. (I have a huge fear of needles and always get sick from injections) 😊

I can only speak for myself, but the comment I made saying “I hope she announces she’s pregnant by the end of the series” it’s just because I know how badly she wants a baby and someone like her deserves it. Because after going thru treatment & friends/family saying "I hope you're pregnant after this!" And not being pregnant- it fucking sucks. I know ppl mean well, believe me I do but struggling with fertility issues is A LOT. Don't need added expectations.

I understand you're only saying that because you know it once bothered Desi however, everyone including you are hoping she is finally pregnant. Since the inseminated the baby was probably in December. They made this public and I'm so glad they did. Desi also liked a comment that said I hope you're pregnant.... I believe that's no longer an issue since they are being very open with their journey. They (the viewers) are only sending well wishes.

I haven’t cried this hard in a WHILE. Honestly, this is so incredibly heartfelt and eye opening. Like the struggle that so many women go through to get pregnant. I’m blown away. Blown away. The strength is unprecedented. Not only the process but the fact that Desi and Steven have put all this out there for the world to see and analyze. Just wow. These two deserve the world.

I’ve cried in every single video that they’ve posted of their journey. I can’t even begin to imagine how they feel. I pray they get their rainbow baby... I aspire to have such a good relationship like you guys. I know their are ups and downs but you guys fit each other so well.
My mom was 40 when she started trying to have children. After 3 miscarriages, she was very discouraged. She then forced my dad to have sex with her every night in December and January (lol), and that’s how I was conceived. She had heard all 3 of the heartbeats of my unborn siblings before me, so she remembers that when she heard mine, she had no reaction. My dad wasn’t even at the doctor’s office with her. Eventually, when it seemed like this pregnancy “stuck”, it finally hit her, and she broke down in tears. In October 1994, my firecracker Scorpio self was born. My mom tried her very best to give me a sibling, and did 2 rounds of IVF. She recalls working as a teacher, and having to give herself the shots in the bathroom. I guess I’m telling you this story because everyone is different. Every conception story is different. And you are so courageous to be giving it your all, with your husband by your side, and posting your story here on this platform. I have 5 siblings in heaven now, alongside my father who passed away when I was 10. My mom always asks, “What if I had more children? How would I be a single mom to multiple children?” But only God knows his timing and only gives us what he knows we can handle. You are inspiring millions, and make God bless you with a little chicken soon. ❤️

We did 3 egg collections. 1st time we got 1 egg, 2nd time we got two and 3rd time we got 11. We ended up with 8 healthy embryos and transferred the first embryo into our surrogate and it worked first go. We have a beautiful 16mo girl .. my younger sister was our egg donor and my older sister was our surrogate. I still grieve for the loss of never having a biological baby, but I love my daughter the same as any other mother would.

Can I just say something? The support that Steven gave to Desi when he was giving her the first IVF shot is so beautiful. But to top it off, Desi didn’t want to take the shot until she noticed that Steven was uncomfortable. He protects her and she protects him. That’s love.
When she asked Steven if he was scared too and he immediately replied "yeah" it was the most sincere, genuine, fearful, but supportive thing I've ever heard a human say. It definitely caught me in the throat and made my eyes tear up. Asking your partner to do such a fragile, vulnerable act with you/for you is such a huge testimant to a relationship. Great work both of you, the love you have shows in every thing you do together.

OMG, watching this video brought back so many memories and emotions. I had 2 IVF cycles and I just kept telling myself that with every shot I was getting closer to having a baby. I remember the first progesterone shot my hubby had to give me , he was so nervous. I just remembered telling him, " Honey, don't worry it's going to be all worth it when we are holding our baby." The 10 days we had to wait was so nerve wracking...I just kept reminding myself it's good to be ok. And then we get the call ....your pregnant. I just cried and cried. Still didn't feel real until I went in for the ultrasound and I saw the heartbeat. Then, at 12 weeks we got the biggest surprise. 2 eggs were implanted and attached but 1 egg split and now it wasn't twins it was TRIPLETS. My triplets will be turning 9 years old in September and I still look at them and can't believe it. Praying for you and Steven 🙏🤰

My nephew was actually conceived through IVF and until this series began I had NO IDEA how brave and strong my sister-in-law must have been to have to go through this. We actually didn’t find out my brother and her were going through this until the day she was in labor. Crazy to think that they had to go through this alone. My nephew is the biggest and greatest blessing in our lives he truly brings so much joy and happiness to us I am so hopeful for you, Steven, the fam, Katy, John everyone to experience that same happiness when your bundle of joy(s) arrive. I cried on this one... I’ve have three failed retrieval’s my egg count is so low that we were just hoping for atleast one egg every time. My last retrieval I woke up with the doctor next to me telling me I had zero eggs. We are going to get donor eggs now. Thank you so much for sharing this.

I am sorry to hear that. Yes it is so unfair how expensive these treatments are. We did them on and off for about 13 years, we sometimes just joke we could've bought real estate with everything we have paid. As an in vitro baby myself this just melts my heart 😢🥰 and brings me an even bigger appreciation and love for my parents! 22 years ago medicine was not where it is now and still against many odds here I am today perfectly healthy! My mom had only 3 embryos survive and none were tested so they took there chances with each! My sister also had a fertility journey. I don’t know what that feels like but being her sister I saw first hand the hurt after each failed attempted. I sent her this little elephant story that has been so special to our fam 💛 thanks for being vulnerable & sharing such a sacred part of your life with us..... “ An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line the doggie gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again and nine months on.. it gave birth to a dozen puppies. The pattern continued- on the 18th month the dog approached the elephant questioning “are you sure that you are pregnant? we became pregnant on the same date & I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs yet, you are still pregnant what is going on?” The elephant replied “there is something I want you to understand. what I am caring is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. when my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. when my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch it in admiration, what I carry draws attention, so what I’m caring is mighty and great!”. Oh Desi! it breaks my heart you're going through this. My husband and I went through infertility and many miscarriages throughout the years. We ended up doing IVF and genetic testing too, so watching your videos brought back all those memories and tears. We did first round of IVF using a "fresh" embryo but the embryo didn't stick. We were very discouraged, but our doctor then told us that by experience he has seen frozen embryos being more successful than fresh ones. Second round we decided to use 2 frozen embryos, one boy and one girl, and both stuck, we have b/g twins now. So in case it doesn't work the first time, please don't get discouraged! You and Steven are in my thoughts and prayers, I know your marriage and bond will grow even stronger after this experience. xoxo

I understand you're only saying that because you know it once bothered Desi however, everyone including you are hoping she is finally pregnant. Since the inseminated the baby was probably in December. They made this public and I'm so glad they did. Desi also liked a comment that said I hope you're pregnant.... I believe that's no longer an issue since they are being very open with their journey. They (the viewers) are only sending well wishes.

I haven’t cried this hard in a WHILE. Honestly, this is so incredibly heartfelt and eye opening. Like the struggle that so many women go through to get pregnant. I’m blown away. Blown away. The strength is unprecedented. Not only the process but the fact that Desi and Steven have put all this out there for the world to see and analyze. Just wow. These two deserve the world.

I’ve cried in every single video that they’ve posted of their journey. I can’t even begin to imagine how they feel. I pray they get their rainbow baby... My mom was 40 when she started trying to have children. After 3 miscarriages, she was very discouraged. She then forced my dad to have sex with her every night in December and January (lol), and that’s how I was conceived. She had heard all 3 of the heartbeats of my unborn siblings before me, so she remembers that when she heard mine, she had no reaction. My dad wasn’t even at the doctor’s office with her. Eventually, when it seemed like this pregnancy “stuck”, it finally hit her, and she broke down in tears. In October 1994, my firecracker Scorpio self was born. My mom tried her very best to give me a sibling, and did 2 rounds of IVF. She recalls working as a teacher, and having to give herself the shots in the bathroom. I guess I’m telling you this story because everyone is different. Every conception story is different. And you are so courageous to be giving it your all, with your husband by your side, and posting your story here on this platform. I have 5 siblings in heaven now, alongside my father who passed away when I was 10. My mom always asks, “What if I had more children? How would I be a single mom to multiple children?” But only God knows his timing and only gives us what he knows we can handle. You are inspiring millions, and make God bless you with a little chicken soon. ❤️

We did 3 egg collections. 1st time we got 1 egg, 2nd time we got two and 3rd time we got 11. We ended up with 8 healthy embryos and transferred the first embryo into our surrogate and it worked first go. We have a beautiful 16mo girl .. my younger sister was our egg donor and my older sister was our surrogate. I still grieve for the loss of never having a biological baby, but I love my daughter the same as any other mother would.

Can I just say something? The support that Steven gave to Desi when he was giving her the first IVF shot is so beautiful. But to top it off, Desi didn’t want to take the shot until she noticed that Steven was uncomfortable. He protects her and she protects him. That’s love.
When she asked Steven if he was scared too and he immediately replied "yeah" it was the most sincere, genuine, fearful, but supportive thing I've ever heard a human say. It definitely caught me in the throat and made my eyes tear up. Asking your partner to do such a fragile, vulnerable act with you/for you is such a huge testimant to a relationship. Great work both of you, the love you have shows in every thing you do together.

OMG, watching this video brought back so many memories and emotions. I had 2 IVF cycles and I just kept telling myself that with every shot I was getting closer to having a baby. I remember the first progesterone shot my hubby had to give me , he was so nervous. I just remembered telling him, " Honey, don't worry it's going to be all worth it when we are holding our baby." The 10 days we had to wait was so nerve wracking...I just kept reminding myself it's good to be ok. And then we get the call ....your pregnant. I just cried and cried. Still didn't feel real until I went in for the ultrasound and I saw the heartbeat. Then, at 12 weeks we got the biggest surprise. 2 eggs were implanted and attached but 1 egg split and now it wasn't twins it was TRIPLETS. My triplets will be turning 9 years old in September and I still look at them and can't believe it. Praying for you and Steven 🙏🤰

My nephew was actually conceived through IVF and until this series began I had NO IDEA how brave and strong my sister-in-law must have been to have to go through this. We actually didn’t find out my brother and her were going through this until the day she was in labor. Crazy to think that they had to go through this alone. My nephew is the biggest and greatest blessing in our lives he truly brings so much joy and happiness to us I am so hopeful for you, Steven, the fam, Katy, John everyone to experience that same happiness when your bundle of joy(s) arrive. I cried on this one... I’ve have three failed retrieval’s my egg count is so low that we were just hoping for atleast one egg every time. My last retrieval I woke up with the doctor next to me telling me I had zero eggs. We are going to get donor eggs now. Thank you so much for sharing this.

We did them on and off for about 13 years, we sometimes just joke we could've bought real estate with everything we have paid. As an in vitro baby myself this just melts my heart 😢🥰 and brings me an even bigger appreciation and love for my parents! 22 years ago medicine was not where it is now and still against many odds here I am today perfectly healthy! My mom had only 3 embryos survive and none were tested so they took there chances with each! I was the third embryo and I could not be more blessed❣️❣️Desi and Steven I’m keeping you both in my prayers stay strong and safe❣️❣️

My sister also had a fertility journey. I don’t know what that feels like but being her sister I saw first hand the hurt after each failed attempted. I sent her this little elephant story that has been so special to our fam 💛 thanks for being vulnerable & sharing such a sacred part of your life with us..... “ An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months down the line the doggie gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again and nine months on.. it gave birth to a dozen puppies. The pattern continued- on the 18th month the dog approached the elephant questioning “are you sure that you are pregnant? we became pregnant on the same date & I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs yet, you are still pregnant what is going on?” The elephant replied “there is something I want you to understand. what I am caring is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. when my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. when my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch it in admiration, what I carry draws attention, so what I’m caring is mighty and great!”. Don’t lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers. don’t be envious of others testimony. if you haven’t received your own blessings, don’t despair. say to yourself my time is coming and when it hits the surface of the earth people shall yield in admiration”. 🐘

Oh Desi! it breaks my heart you're going through this. My husband and I went through infertility and many miscarriages throughout the years. We ended up doing IVF and genetic testing too, so watching your videos brought back all those memories and tears. We did first round of IVF using a "fresh" embryo but the embryo didn't stick. We were very discouraged, but our doctor then told us that by experience he has seen frozen embryos being more successful than fresh ones. Second round we decided to use 2 frozen embryos, one boy and one girl, and both stuck, we have b/g twins now. So in case it doesn't work the first time, please don't get discouraged! You and Steven are in my thoughts and prayers, I know your marriage and bond will grow even stronger after this experience. xoxo
