Or that the Ultra Ball actually has an H on top of it because originally it was called the Hyper Ball? Well those are just three of the one hundred useless Pokemon facts that I go over in this video!

I know that Brock and Misty say they gave Ash their badges out of pity. But Ash actually tried to decline the boulder badge until Brock gave him a whole speech about Ash following the dream he couldn't or some shit, and Misty wasn't even a gym leader at the time, her sisters were and they were literally just gonna give Ash the badge because they didn't have any healthy Pokemon left from the other trainers from pallet town that got their first. (Which is still a very stupid call but my point is that Misty was not gym leader yet and had no say in the matter)

@@avatardoom Brock even points out Ash earned it for showing compassion and restraint to an opponent.
Also, ignoring the fact that Ash's Cascade Badge was nearly earned legitimately in battle against Misty (since she still offered), when they battled to determine who kept Totodile, they agreed to use that battle to settle who officially won at Cerulean Gym.
Ash won, so with that in mind Misty has LESS right to complain!

Regarding Pokemon XD moves, a Magmar once top cut the world tournament because it was a user of Follow Me, an XD exclusive move to the species. It worked so well because it was the only Follow Me user at the time with a contact status ability in Flame Body. Pretty hilarious how a probably arbitrary decision in a side game caused a total ripple effect in the world tournaments several years later.

"Tentacool is even worse than Zubat"
JRose11 would like to have a word with you. He did a solo-run of Red/Blue with a Tentacool, and it turned out to be one of the best pre-evolved Pokemon in Gen 1, out of the ones he's done so far (and he's done almost 90 of these solo-runs, out of 152 total, since he also did a MissingNo. run)

Fact 21 extended: Sliggoo’s entry in Pokémon X says this: “It drives away opponents by excreting a sticky liquid that can dissolve anything. Its eyes devolved, so it can’t see anything.“ So yeah, Sliggoo’s eyes devolved so it’s blind and needs to use its horns has radars (stated in Pokémon Y’s entry.) my poor snail boi

Well for the teleporting... voltorb is basically a pokeball, and those get transfered to the pc via some sort of teleportation.... arcanine is the extremespeed pokemon, so maybe it's just so fast it seems to teleport ..... i dunno about cloyster tho, maybe the entity inside can teleport to a new shell?

I can confirm the long path to get Shaymin. I recently got the pokemon in bdsp. It's ridiculous how much time it is to get Shaymin. And you have to walk back after you catch em.

Actually Ash’s first two badges Boulder and Cascade only one was truly a hand out, the Boulder badge. Mistys sisters, as incompetent as they are, recognized that Ash was on the verge of winning with his Pidgeot vs Misty’s Starmie. Misty however will argue the opposite that she was going to win being very immature and bull headed. Ash was going to Win before Team Rocket crashed the Gym battle and the sisters knew that, while Misty desperate to best her ditzy sisters and one up Ash will to this day insist she was going to win. So only the Boulder Badge was a true hand out.
