@@LuckyOwI777 As Muffin said, you can technically transfer it to Gen 8, just gotta pay for Pokemon Bank and Home (which is incredibly dumb, you should be able to transfer pokemon to Home for free, and Bank should have a free option now that Home exists) and a lot of other stuff!
Aura: who would bother grinding up their starter that early in the game? GameChamp3000: AND SO I ARRIVE, LIKE A UNSEEN DODGEBALL IN AN ECHOING GYMNASIUM!
I remember a manga where they gave piplup an everstone and didnt take it off until it had enough xp to evolve into empoleon, and they made it do a double evolution so that prinplup was only seen in 2 panels. poor prinplup
That was a manga called Diamond and Pearl Adventure. They also did the same with Gold's Togetaro in Pokemon Adventures (Pokemon Special in JP), Lance gave Gold a Shiny Stone beforehand and when Togetaro finally made amends with Gold, he evolved to Togetic and then inmediately to Togekiss.
I was triggered when i learned the first time that leafeon didnt evolved with a leafstone, but i was kinda understanding why Gleaceon was not possible in its generation, because there were no ice stones, but also wondered why not make one in gen 4...
The naming gets weirder when you consider Blue and Green are reversed; in Japanese he's Green and she's Blue which is reflected in some redesigns. In the Alola games, if you evolve your starter immediately the change is reflected in the cutscenes. It's pretty funny to introduce your mother to a giant cat man, for example
@@justafan9206 I was playing around with a rare candy cheat but it's technically possible to grind them in like, one spot on level 2-3 wild Pokémon. I don't remember exactly where but the grass is optional
Spinarak being a dark blue/purple might be because it’s typically found at night. Ninten may have also been a double reference to the protagonist of Mother, since they’re both young boys with a baseball cap and a backpack.
Actually, before Gen 8, to evolve Eevee into Leafeon, you would need to level it up near a moss rock, this was a bit tedious, but they changed it to evolve it via leaf stone instead. This is also true to how you evolve Eevee into Glaceon, requiring a ice stone to evolve rather than leveling up near an ice rock.
Fun fact: When Blaine's Magmar used Fire Blast in the anime, the appearance is in Chinese character was changing to Big, Middle and Small when fire up to the sky
Thank you for number 17. A character in an anime I love has a fire attack that sort of looks like that symbol. I always thought it looked like fire blast but now I see the deeper meaning there!!
Fun fact about fun fact 22, thunder stone only evolves 3 Pokémon, originally 2 in gen one, then they added another thunder stone evolution in gen 5, that’s a stone that DEFIANTLY needs more Pokémon to evolve
@@imanaxolotl7999 I think this is also the reason that so many electric attacks are named T H U N D E R instead of L I G H T N I N G (That and it sounding cool)
This was great! Hopefully we get more of these! Maybe next time, do a video covering 25 fun facts about Eeveelutions or Starters (including Pikachu and Eevee from Let’s Go)
If you ever decide to make another one of these, here's a fun fact: In the "Gotcha" music video, in one of the first scenes where all gym leaders and elite four members are present alongside each other of their respective type speciality, the only ones missing are Giovanni and Blue. I guess it's for pretty obvious reasons, but funny nonetheless.
10:25 not sure if this helps anything, but in the DPP chapter of the manga the reason Barry (aka Pearl) had an orange Poketch was because there were three kids, Dia and Lady being the other two, and they didn’t want to give them two blue ones because it might be confusing.
10:18 thems fightin words buddy. I always evolve my starter before delivering the parcel. In gen 2 evolve before the first rival battle i basically grond to evolve my startwr as soon as i get the chance basically every version
11:00 I always knew that the Fire Blast animation was a symbol for fire, since it was in Power Rangers Samurai, and that was a big part of my childhood.
Actually on the elemental stone part, the newest Pokémon to be evolved from the leaf stone is leafeon. They replaced the rocks with ice and leaf stone.
In Emerald pokemon contests you can have an opponent competing with a pokemon named Pedos. I'm sure this is because in japanese or whatever this is just a cutish nickname for Sharpedo, but I'm very surprised nobody noticed this in the English version and took it out
In Legends: Arceus, the only available Pokémon that can evolve with the Water Stone is Eevee. All the other Pokémon that evolve with the Water Stone (Poliwhirl, Shellder, Staryu, Lombre, and Panpour) aren't included in the game.
Technically... in Gen 8, Leafeon evolves with a Leaf Stone... so it would be the latest evolution using the Leaf Stone because of this change in its evolution requirement
7:20 I remember that one! XD Fire blast for some reason I remember looked more like an exploding flame bullet in one of the colosseum games. I played through Mario galaxy and thought I was just crazy when I saw that planet.💫
9:20 Interestingly enough, Dawn's Adventures counterpart, Platinum, won a Pokémon Super Contest in Coolness segment with her Prinplup (although it is just in Normal Rank) 10:30 This is actually explained in a different canon. In the Adventures manga, Professor Rowan specifically requested the Pokétch Co. President for three different colored Pokètch (red, blue, and orange) so that Platinum and her bodyguards won't mix their Pokétch up
the characters and starters in the manga is quite easy to remember, Red (fire type) > Venusaur, Blue (water type) > Charizard, and Green (grass type) > Blastoise. With Green and Blue swapping their names, it gets messy from there.

Aura: Posting random facts for the 3rd time
Us: Ah shit, here we go again
8:50 you technicaly can evolve it. Starting with gen 8, if you give an unevolved level 100 pokemon a rare candy, it will evolve anyways
It is kinda complicated tho
You need pokemon home, pokemon bank, one of the Unova games, and a separate ds/3ds to get a gen 4 pokemon into a gen 8 game.
But...the game was Platinum. So no...you couldn't evolve it in that game. So yes, it would be completely useless
In the gen 4 games, when you battle Mars and Jupiter, when they sent out Skuntank and Purugly, it looks like Skuntank is sniffing Purugly's butt🤣🤣🤣
@@brunolinares604 ...you mean Togepi? lol. I believe Togetaro is the Spanish name for Togekiss
@@LuckyOwI777 Spanish names are the same as english except for type:null and other regular words Pokemon
@@notafan3949 Really? That's interesting. Maybe I got my language mixed up, idk. But Togetaro isn't an English name, lol
@@LuckyOwI777 for sure lol, maybe its the nickname of a togepi in the manga or something
13:15 actually in gen 8 leafeon and glaceon now evolve with their respective stones
BraeDrizzt23 is it because the mossy and icy rocks don’t exist in swsh?
I was triggered when i learned the first time that leafeon didnt evolved with a leafstone, but i was kinda understanding why Gleaceon was not possible in its generation, because there were no ice stones, but also wondered why not make one in gen 4...
Also would be nice if Umbreon and Espeon could evolve with a Dusk Stone and Dawn stone respectively
@@mehmetozturk9527 Moon and Sun Stone would be better for umbreon and espeon respectively imo.
@@getspamed2208 Then Sylveon would have to join, because it also doesn't evolve by stone XD
Oh god no
... how for sun/moon tho
@@justafan9206 I was playing around with a rare candy cheat but it's technically possible to grind them in like, one spot on level 2-3 wild Pokémon. I don't remember exactly where but the grass is optional
Time do do this with wailord/Giratina haha
@@remimaree5474 when i tried it with only a Rattata it defaulted to the Rowlett I'd chosen but no longer had
THANK YOU, FINALLY SOMEONE IS TALKING ABOUT THE MANGA
I'm not sure if he even read it tho, he called green blue
I thought I was funny ,In Japan their names are swapped so some people like to call Green(female) Blue and same for the other
After 2 hours of waiting for the video to be public. *It’s Time*
Fun fact: When Blaine's Magmar used Fire Blast in the anime, the appearance is in Chinese character was changing to Big, Middle and Small when fire up to the sky
Yuan George 大中小?
@@chiangedison8080 Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny :)

The pokemon in the middle next to umbreon
Is that slowbro shelder, or a steelix?
It’s the Shellder form that attaches to Slowpoke when it evolves.
WHy does beta smochum look exactly like Agatha
Actually as of Let's Go "double" moves like Double Slap and Double Kick now only hit twice. I guess Game Freak finally released their mistake.
Thank you for number 17. A character in an anime I love has a fire attack that sort of looks like that symbol. I always thought it looked like fire blast but now I see the deeper meaning there!!
For number 12, in BW2, you can also encounter a lv. 1-100 Gyrados in the Nature Preserve (along with magikarp)
7:35 is problays based of Ninten from earthbound
11:11 it is actually a really cool reference to power rangers samurai
Teacher: so what did you learn during quarantine?
Me: uhhhhhhh
thought that this was the ultimate troll: a video we have been waiting for is unviewable
Last time I was this early aura’s vids were serious
Jude Hindi same
You mean now because this was a serious video (expect the last fact)
Fun fact about fun fact 22, thunder stone only evolves 3 Pokémon, originally 2 in gen one, then they added another thunder stone evolution in gen 5, that’s a stone that DEFIANTLY needs more Pokémon to evolve
You can also find level 100 Magikarp and Gyarados in BW2 in the area you unlock with the permit
"Spin Slap" or "Twirly Slap" would've been better names than "Double Slap" and do a better job conveying the round trip part.
Or just call it round trip slap
@@imanaxolotl7999 Wasn't enough room on screen to do that back in Gen 1 and Gen 2.

Hi
How is Dick short for Richard? There's Bill and William, Jim and James, but Richard and Dick? Nobody ever says "Dickard". - James Rolfe
Ted is short for Theodore.
Finally, someone of culture.
This was great! Hopefully we get more of these! Maybe next time, do a video covering 25 fun facts about Eeveelutions or Starters (including Pikachu and Eevee from Let’s Go)
It's almost poetic that the being comprised of everything is beaten by the simplest of materials.
Or Barry is trans
8:43 I've been asked a quiz bowl question about this. It isn't a useless fact.
34 seconds in and I've already forgotten the first fact.
I'm sure this is because in japanese or whatever this is just a cutish nickname for Sharpedo, but I'm very surprised nobody noticed this in the English version and took it out
what is wrong with it
Last time i was this early charizard couldn't learn fly
Nice to see the Absol guy credited for his awesome work.
In Legends: Arceus, the only available Pokémon that can evolve with the Water Stone is Eevee. All the other Pokémon that evolve with the Water Stone (Poliwhirl, Shellder, Staryu, Lombre, and Panpour) aren't included in the game.

8:39 You can battle level 100 Regigigas in Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra DLC.
Technically... in Gen 8, Leafeon evolves with a Leaf Stone... so it would be the latest evolution using the Leaf Stone because of this change in its evolution requirement
They changed it now?
Yup, Glaceon and Vikavolt got similar treatment as well, with their respective evolutionary stones
Pocket Flygon And Magneton into Magnezone
7:20 I remember that one! XD Fire blast for some reason I remember looked more like an exploding flame bullet in one of the colosseum games. I played through Mario galaxy and thought I was just crazy when I saw that planet.💫
wait... Purple flame typhlosion? Was Legends Arceus doing a call back then?
The B in LGBT stands for Barry
9:20 Interestingly enough, Dawn's Adventures counterpart, Platinum, won a Pokémon Super Contest in Coolness segment with her Prinplup (although it is just in Normal Rank)
10:30 This is actually explained in a different canon. In the Adventures manga, Professor Rowan specifically requested the Pokétch Co. President for three different colored Pokètch (red, blue, and orange) so that Platinum and her bodyguards won't mix their Pokétch up

I would love to hear a technical explanation of how the quote en quote Omni-type Pokémon is weak to Rock, that just fascinates me.
Hit anything hard enough with a rock and that'll do it
the characters and starters in the manga is quite easy to remember, Red (fire type) > Venusaur, Blue (water type) > Charizard, and Green (grass type) > Blastoise. With Green and Blue swapping their names, it gets messy from there.
How? I mean it's just the starter type matchups, but instead of types it's with names and the starter they chose.
Great video! Barry is his own gender.
Random thing fireblast also looks kind of like the chinese character for fire 火
That Bellsprout evo was actually a side Weepinbell evo, so Weepinbell was gonna evolve into Victreebel or that thing
You can also get a level 100 regigas in sword and shield. I’m gonn make a video about it but the bellsprout evolution is creepy!
