Thanks for the tutorial, just wondering what type of cast on did you use I’m having a bit of trouble with the stretchy cast on and just want to do the same as the video
Thank you! I love the tutorial but I don't understand why you pick up the stiches for the neckline on the left side? Does it have other reason than aesthetics? 😅 Greetings from Peru
When dividing the sleeves, all you have to do is make less cast on stitches - casting on more sts will result in a wider body, and casting on less sts will result in a narrower body
@@the.knoticalhow many stiches did you cast on in the reels version ? both look awesome btw thankss ✨✨💕 also if you had the yarn reference for the reels version plss
just make your own gauge in 4"x4" square (with few additional stitches so the fabric stretches nicely), wash and block it like you would the garment and count how many stitches you got in the 4"x4" - that's your gauge. it's best to do this even if you do have the label, as your tension might not match the tension of the gauge on the label
I have the same problem but i found out too late my sweater is almost done by now😭 but i'm planning on adding an elastic band so hopefully it will work🤞 have you fixed yours? If yes then how?😅
I haven’t had any problems with the top going up the shoulders unless I’m raising my arms to put up my hair, but I believe that’s the case with every off the shoulder top! You can add an elastic band right under the ribbed hem to keep it from slipping up or down though
THIS IS THE PERFECT TUTORIAL! Thank you so much for making this tutorial free, you’re too kind ❤
You’re so welcome! Glad it was helpful!
oh dang... i crochet, but now i want to learn how to knit as well. this is a lovely piece and an AMAZING tut!
As someone who’s learned both, personally crochet was harder for me to get lol
Thank you! Knitting comes easy with practice:)
Just the tutorial I was looking for
this is such a GOOD tutorial 🥹 thank u so much! i’ll be ordering my yarn soon to start this 🫶🏻
my toxic trait is believing I can do this even though I've never knitted. Beautiful sweater.
LMAO same I think that too 😭😭
U prob can u never know , give it a go
Found my next project. Hopefully it will be ready by spring 😅
It took me about 3 weeks on and off! Hope to see it soon☺️
I love tutorials that allow people to adjust to their size, yours are so perfect and easy to understand. Thanks so much!
Glad you like them!

my needles arent long enough and stitches keep twisting because of that💔💔
About how many inches did you knit for the top folded neckline?
How many balls of yarn did you el get with how many grams ?
is the cast on method used also called the german twisted cast on or is it actually called elastic cast on
how beginner friendly is this? I love the sweater and the tutorial but I’m very new to knitting. would this be suitable for me?
If you can do the stockinette and rib knit stitch, go for it

A SIZE 3 YARN TUTORIAL OMG THANK YOU
the great thing about this tut, is that you can use any yarn!!
hi! do you decrease in needle size when doing the ribbed parts?
How long did it take to make this sweater???
how much yarn did u use
How much yarn did you use???❤❤❤
OMGG I LOVE THISSS
I used 2 and a half skeins for a size small! The skein was 100g each
so with the width in the first equation is it the width of the tension square measured in cm?
in your shorts video, the waist of the sweater was more slim, and in this video it is more baggy. How can I make the waist portion more slim?

@@the.knoticalhow many fewer stitches did you cast on? love the tut btw :) x

Is size 3 yarn equivalent to 8 ply or 3 ply yarn? Thanks for the tutorial!
hey girl what size needles did u use!! love the tut
How much yarn did you use?

Oh no, what happens if you threw away the yarn label?😭

If it's for knowing the weight of the yarn, if you remember the brand of the skein you can search the weight in ravelry!
@@o.cassiopieiathis confused me😭
did you use US size 5 needles?
this is amazing!
Can you give some tips on how to keep the off shoulder from sliding down?Mine is a little big on me and it slides down whenever i try it😭
You’re making it to big, i suggest downsizing the original stitch count by 10
or adding an elastic band to the shoulders
Did you also downsize the sleeves by 10??? @@Yuri-uf2tu
