    In zone 2 left hand side 40% of DO of saturation then how anaerobic process will take place? Should not it be aerobic?

    • @spjayalatha
      @spjayalatha 3 года назад

      its anaerobic condition only exist bez it has organic matter so its decreasing the DO level from saturation, whereas after active decomposition organic matter is absent and starts DO 40% increase and gets aerobic condition

    Can anybody tell in sedimentation process on the river bed why does only anaerobic reaction takes place and not aerobic?

    • @BLNSB_I
      @BLNSB_I 6 лет назад +3

      At the river bed DO values will be very low compared to surface hence anaerobic condition is present...

    sir in zone 2 aerobic condition are prevail because in upper layer more disolved is present

    • @APSEDUVERSE
      @APSEDUVERSE  7 лет назад

      Initially it may prevail but with time it may be consumed by bacteria and more supply may not be there because mixing doesn't take place between layers. There are several other factors which may affect the presence of DO. If such question is asked you will be given with proper data to mark the right answer.

    DO in stream is maximum at noon or minimum at noon

    • @saihemanthpetluri331
      @saihemanthpetluri331 6 лет назад

      as temperature increases DO decreases. so at noon DO is minimum.

      Max at noon as photosynthesis occurs in noon onlny....
