- 5 years in and I'm finally doing this! Eeeek! If you've been following me a while you know I resisted heat until last year when I incorporated some light blow drying into my regimen.
And now, I'm taking the leap with a proper silk press on my natural hair. Wisteria Salon and Spa took me through this scary and exciting process with the L'oreal Steam Pod 3.0. A snazzy new device that uses steam to straighten hair whilst minimising the chances of heat damage.
We put that to the test.

Why do i call the silk pressing ironing hahaha... I do silk pressing every once in a month & my hair is okay. No complaints & its been 5 years as well. Hope yours turns out good as well. I love your hair Fiona😍

I recommend you look for no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.
Personally I use sulpates. My hair is low porosity and needs proper cleansing because it builds up quite a lot. I also generally steer clear of all products that promise 'fast growth' because technically nothing makes hair grow faster per se. Good practices and correct technique are what help hair grow healthy
I'd love to hear about your experience with the product though. Always eager to learn
@@fionakemi actually many things do make your hair grow faster. Look up the use of DHT blockers and sulfur on hair
