It would be great if you could open an online shop for spare parts (with international shipping) so that people who don't have a workshop nearby can repair their bikes themselves.
i had a vanmoof branch on my way to work and then a partner worshop. here’s how it helped:

partner shop: we changed everything and the bike still doesn’t work, that will be 1250€.
I refuse to buy another e-bike if they don't sell replacement parts.
Less money for vanmoof
Rebuilding trust would be easy: Schematics, Direct selling (improved) spare parts - making an actual impact on S3/X3 owners lifes. Now 3rd party workshops actually said they don't expect you to provide them the necessary parts.
They are literally already providing parts to trained partners. You can’t just ship out parts to any other shop without proper training.
wishing nothing but the best for this brand, theres so few others who actually try to push the industry forward. hopefully they open more partner stores in the US soon.
I love my s5. Trust you earn over time, if this thing is super reliable (it is so far!) and if I need to change a button or something and can do that easily. Make it a hassle and I... grow sceptical. Reliability and the ability to do most - if not all - simple fixes easily will make me want to ride this thing for 25 more years... it really is that good, so far...

VM customers are not asking for a scooter. Scooters are a blight on cities.
My beloved X2 fully workin' after 5 years & 10.000 km. Next year maybe will buy a 5gen (or 6gen if it exists) if it sells in Spain.

SOld my X3 for spares to someone who has the time and money to afford the repairs from the vanmoof partners,
So far I'v been shopping around for a new ebike,
Right now my options are either Tenways CGO900, Lemmo ONE or the Tezeus.

It’s hard to hear them talk about “innovation” while my bike won’t boot up, and the next repair appointment is more than a month out.

In terms of rebuilding trust, how about giving anything back to your crowdfunding investors?
After the takeover they were left with nothing.
Batteries? Literally no new batteries available in UK? My battery failed after less than 100 rides.
When I emailed Vanmoof I just got a pointless stock reply. No help. No timeline.
