Sam Salemnia seems sue-happy. He sued 24 Hour Fitness in 2012, Bob Khakshooy in 2017 and Wawanesa General Insurance Company in 2019. He got $160 from Mr. Khakshooy and nothing from Wawanesa. The 24 Hour Fitness case was dismissed. It doesn't appear to be a very lucrative hobby for him.

I have cleaned computer motherboards in an ultrasonic cleaner under 2½ gallons of water (after removing the CMOS battery) for YEARS and all of them are still working to this day. Moreover, I have a friend who regularly cleans his computer keyboards using a dishwasher. The basic rule for solid-state circuitry exposed to water is: as long as it's dry before you power it up, it'll be just fine.

It was driving me crazy that he kept talking instead of grabbing one of the supposedly damaged pieces and showed that it didn't work. Didn't turn on, display was weird, whatever. No proof, no judgement. A few pictures with water drops don't mean things won't work. I dropped my phone into a friend's pool once (with all of the cleaning chemicals, not just water). Turned it off, let it dry, still works 4 years later. PROVE that the stuff is broken

@@DavidKen878 it doesn’t make sense to me either, but I’ve seen many cases where the landlord never fixed the problem that was their responsibility to fix & as a result, the tenant sustained damages to their property. Don’t ask me, I don’t make the laws but that’s the way it is. There are plenty of cases on this same very show that show those types of judgments. I’m not shooting blanks. All you gotta do is go look it up if you care that much

Back in the day my upstairs neighbor flooded her bathroom and the water leaked into my bathroom. She had to pay for her floors and the ceiling leak in my bathroom.

It was driving me crazy that he kept talking instead of grabbing one of the supposedly damaged pieces and showed that it didn't work. Didn't turn on, display was weird, whatever. No proof, no judgement. A few pictures with water drops don't mean things won't work. I dropped my phone into a friend's pool once (with all of the cleaning chemicals, not just water). Turned it off, let it dry, still works 4 years later. PROVE that the stuff is broken

😂😂😂😂 this happened when my ex knew more than me and suggested dishwashing liquid could be used in place of the proper dishwashing liquid for dishwashers. After he poured it in, I put my popcorn in the microwave and when the bubbles started oozing out of the dishwasher, I grab my popcorn and put my feet up in the chair and watched the mayhem. Needless to say, I was NOT a part of the clean up team!
I mean... In my kitchen I have a catch-all space and I would be out some serious dough if we ever had a leak above it

This guy is a jerk! Trying to sue for $4k in damage from a kitchen leak? It’s not like it was pouring rain in his apartment. He even got an Insurance check. Come on dude. The poor kid didn’t know how to use the dishwasher. He should be a little more empathetic.
