Nice install!! I’m surprised more shops that have all the equipment don’t do things like A pillars for specific popular vehicles besides just the trucks I mean there has to be thousands of Jeep Grand Cherokee’s out there like mine hint lol
It more of how many Jeep guys are wanting a bad ass system with pillars. Then, can they be replicated without the vehicle present and look factory every single time. Maybe one day we can make it happen 👍
Wish we could provide 1/10th of the performance over a GoPro microphone trust me, we would... It will be traveling to trade shows across the country in the Focal/Mosconi booth, so if you have the chance, stand in line and take a listen!!!

Unbelievable system. I may have missed it but my only question is how did you get the signal from the infotainment system out to the amps? I would like to think there was an adaptor that you used in a harness but I'm sure that would have been too easy. Great job. I LOVE all the details!!!!
We custom make a T-Harness for the Bronco that provides us the appropriate signal to amplify. soundsgoodstereo.com/collections/2021-2023-ford-bronco-with-non-amplified-factory-system-1/products/custom-radio-integration-t-harness-for-base-model-vehicles-compatible-with-2021-ford-vehicles

Beautiful 3 part video installation. Great work guys! Can I ask what an audio upgrade like this cost? I have a Bronco WildTrak on its way and I'm a DJ and need some bass in my life LOL
You can assume $25k-40k on this build. The variables would be how much of the cosmetics you want and this exact build would be closer to the $40k mark.
We did, all of the above. The speakers were actually installed / uninstalled several times and this was the best video section I could find for the video.
Thats beautiful, but does the stock radio have a good enough sound card in it to make use and do justice to all of that? That was the issue I had in my 2020 tacoma with that K2 elite series.
Some factory radios do and others do not. In the newer Ford platforms, we give it a 8 out of 10 in performance. Which is really good considering you are not changing the radios in these trucks.
Midbass was decent, better than expected. We utilized a DSP to bring the subwoofer to the front with time delay, then raised the crossover on the subs to help reinforce that frequency range. In the end, it worked out great.
Awesome Work! I have a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor Lariat with the B&O system. I am in Lebanon, TN just outside Nashville and would be interested in seeing what you all could do with it. Not looking for anything crazy though. Thank You!
We have a Ranger lined up for next month. Not sure exactly what we will do, but it will sound good when we are done. Reach out to us and we can explain how we go about system packages.
Nice build guys, lots of amps, and distribution, it's the box considered, a series sixth, or just close, looks like it could be ?? Just wondering ,love the show ,and the content !!
If the subs were not slanted, it would probably react like a 6th. But in this case and listening to it, it performed like a traditional vented enclosure.
No, this build is a demonstration vehicle, not a daily driver. So 99% of the time the Bronco will be off and on a power supply. If this was a customer vehicle, we would reduce down the subwoofer power slightly to make sure the electrical is stable. Here is a video of how this vehicle is going to be used: ruclips.net/video/Tgod67tCkoU/видео.html
I just got my "in production" email from Ford for my Wildtrak. I would love to have Ford ship my Bronco straight to you instead of Charleston, SC...killer install. Did you create a custom mount for the 4" Focal ES 100K mid/tweeter for the rear pod speakers?
Around $25K in gear/parts plus another $20K in labor, tuning, fabrication, etc. So somewhere around the $45K mark if I had to add it up in my head. As we do more of them, the labor would come down as it's no longer a "one-off" build. If we do two at once, you can save around 40% just on the labor alone.
What price is this install roughly for the gear and labor and how long did the install take? I might buy another car just for a high end audio system. My brand new cars that are super expensive the manufacturer won't let you touch the audio because it's all integrated into the computer system and they will void your whole warranty. I had this happen on my GLS Mercedes SUV custom build from the manufacturer. I upgraded to Bang & Olufsen system but still could be much better.
@@SoundsGoodStereo how are you working around car manufacturers warranty and voiding it with aftermarket systems installed? Mercedes told me that because connected to center console computer with radio that controls everything. Cost not an issue. How long do installs take start to finish?
If everything is plug & play, no splicing of wires, it will not void the warranty. Also, understanding the data networks helps with proper integration. Example of something we ran into a few years back: BMW I8, we did a full system and customer wanted us to add his new exhaust to the vehicle he purchased. We told the customer no, but eventually agreed to help him out as he is a great client of ours. After a few months, a service light came on and he took it to BMW for service. When they tried to connect to the vehicle, they could not. So we went to the dealership, unplugged everything stereo related and still same issue. No idea what it could be until a BMW tech called and said the exhaust system was causing CAN/Data corruption. The exhaust connects to the data connection to change the tones of the exhaust. After disconnecting the exhaust from the vehicle, everything worked as it should. This exhaust even though designed for the I8, obviously was either defective or not truly compatible. We are not performance exhaust guys, we did not know any batter. At first, BMW wanted to blame the stereo as they are intimidated by it, but in the end, it was a different aftermarket accessory that caused the issue. So as you could imagine, we do not say "yes" anymore customer requests that we are not familiar with. I'm sure if we specialized in BMW aftermarket exhausts, we would have known immediately what the issue was, but it's the saying "no good deed goes unpunished". We are integration specialists in the stereo aftermarket sector, it's what we do and we understand not only how to integrate properly, but the products we choose are ones that will not cause issues like above. No shortcuts to reliability.
@@SoundsGoodStereo hey, have you integrated DAP's to stereo systems? Like Astell Kern or DAP's in general. Something that doesn't link via Bluetooth, but plugged in wires.
Yes, we have done it many times. It's up to the customer on how they would like to play their music and we do not force anyone to change that. But of course having a DAP loaded with great music is a good idea.
@@SoundsGoodStereo I am an old school type, cd's, and still play my Denon Rockford Deck from the 90's. Fiddled with Pioneer top end in 2015, just didn't like the preamp, and sonic signature of the unit. Also Alpine could be better, still doesn't match the Denon. What are the head units that comes recommended today? Perhaps I'll run the DAP to a passive pre?
Awesome work guys! If I could nitpick anything...I wouldn't really lol. Perhaps more thorough on the deadening and dampening and use of wire ferrules... You guys are Killin it! Kinda curious how the midbass drivers will look on the RTA with these drivers given their t/s parameters vs the lack of space behind the opening. Obviously you can't cut the car lol. Top level work though!
Thanks!! The midbass is actually not in a tiny enclosure, it is chambered into the body frame from what we can tell. We used an impedance meter to test to be sure. Not sure what you mean by more thorough on the deadening? We didn't show all of the doors being done, but they were off-camera. We have always been up in the air on wire ferrules as in theory it would reduce the surface area which would provide us fewer contact points over the stranded wire when put into the screw-down terminal on the amplifiers. It looks great, but we need someone to convince us it is better performance, not just look better.
Man you do some beautiful work and awesome assembly. BUT GUYS PLEASE DO YOUR LUNGS A FAVOR…. Use respirators when working with MDF or sanding…I hate being “the safety guy” but please MDF and filler dust is just about the worst carcinogenic stuff and it will damage your lungs…
Does base Bronco radio output low frequencies or does the factory roll off, requiring coding with Forscan? I have a JL powered 12 , connected high level to fronts , seem to have very little low bass extension even when crossed over at the lowest setting (50hz). Sounds like 100hz..thanks
@@SoundsGoodStereo thank you. I’ve followed this, however you can see both before and after the adjustments in Forscan, the front signal peaks @68-80hz and rolls of sharply below. Maybe the Key Loc will help www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/jl-audio-fix-86-base-audio-measured-flat-front-rear-forscan-settings.50301/ EDIT: I need to make sure the EQ setting changed on 727-01-02, otherwise I’ve got another issue. It’s a sealed powered 12” JL , poor low bass extension but plenty mid. Should have done custom. 🤪
At the next show, we will grab some photos. It was trimmed out like the rest of the install with some cool laser cut parts. It was 4am in the morning when this was finished, so we were tired and didn’t feel like being RUclips commentators lol.
@@SoundsGoodStereo is that to much power as the sub is rated at 600watts? Only asking as I have one and trying to fiqure how much power I should go for :)
It all depends on who is setting up the amplifier. On music, your subwoofer is not going to receive 100% of the power, all of the time... But a improper setup amplifier could increase the average amount of power which could cause issues. If its setup with test instruments (not ears) then you will be good. If your installer is just guessing on the settings, then do not over power anything.
I believe they are sealed, but do not expect amazing results from this location. Finding the correct speaker, power and tuning of the system as a whole will help.
It's a demonstration vehicle that attends trade shows. So it will always be inside, engine off when playing. So we integrated a power supply into the Bronco to run the system and maintain the batteries.
Not the ones in the video at the moment. Too much labor to make it economic since we are so busy with other products. As we build more of them and find a smoother path of production, we might offer them
It would be like listening to a live concert someone recorded with their phone… It will not do it justice, just have to hear it or one of our cars in person to understand what the system does.
That is what an aftermarket system is supposed to look like. Clean, not in your face, but everything is displayed perfectly. Well done!
Thanks

So as you could imagine, we do not say "yes" anymore customer requests that we are not familiar with. I'm sure if we specialized in BMW aftermarket exhausts, we would have known immediately what the issue was, but it's the saying "no good deed goes unpunished".
We are integration specialists in the stereo aftermarket sector, it's what we do and we understand not only how to integrate properly, but the products we choose are ones that will not cause issues like above. No shortcuts to reliability.
You dropped it... Now step on it 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha
Head units... What are those? lol... Go with a Astell & Kern and that is your new head unit
You need to turn off the EQ with ForScan or use a signal correction device, currently two companies make them. The Kicker KeyLoc or the JL Audio Fix.
@@SoundsGoodStereo thank you. I’ve followed this, however you can see both before and after the adjustments in Forscan, the front signal peaks @68-80hz and rolls of sharply below.
Maybe the Key Loc will help

EDIT: I need to make sure the EQ setting changed on 727-01-02, otherwise I’ve got another issue. It’s a sealed powered 12” JL , poor low bass extension but plenty mid. Should have done custom. 🤪
I wonder how much $ a build like that cost.
Alot :)
Do we get to see the finished amp rack behind the seats?
At the next show, we will grab some photos. It was trimmed out like the rest of the install with some cool laser cut parts. It was 4am in the morning when this was finished, so we were tired and didn’t feel like being RUclips commentators lol.
How much time did something like this take?
Around 200 hours, two people. A lot of “unknowns” which is Part of custom and doing things the right way as you seen in the video.
Hello, how much power have you got running to a single sub ?
We have 1K RMS going to each subwoofer
@@SoundsGoodStereo is that to much power as the sub is rated at 600watts? Only asking as I have one and trying to fiqure how much power I should go for :)
It all depends on who is setting up the amplifier. On music, your subwoofer is not going to receive 100% of the power, all of the time... But a improper setup amplifier could increase the average amount of power which could cause issues. If its setup with test instruments (not ears) then you will be good. If your installer is just guessing on the settings, then do not over power anything.
Are those 6.5 speakers sealed in the kicks or i.b ?
I believe they are sealed, but do not expect amazing results from this location. Finding the correct speaker, power and tuning of the system as a whole will help.
😍🥰😍❗
How are you powering this on a stock alternator?
It's a demonstration vehicle that attends trade shows. So it will always be inside, engine off when playing. So we integrated a power supply into the Bronco to run the system and maintain the batteries.
Are you guys selling the dash adapters?
Not the ones in the video at the moment. Too much labor to make it economic since we are so busy with other products. As we build more of them and find a smoother path of production, we might offer them
How do i get a set of those dash pods?
We can build them. It's 2-days of labor plus materials, around $1400 shipped
we didn’t get hear what it sounds
It would be like listening to a live concert someone recorded with their phone… It will not do it justice, just have to hear it or one of our cars in person to understand what the system does.
wheres the final build
