I’ve tried both this version and Clean+Fresh (cedar wood scent). Definitely think that version has the better smell out of the two, the dark temptation had a play-dough like smell to me. Not the best soap but not the worst, smells good but leaves a black residue. If you’re going to buy it buy it for the novelty not because you’re looking for a good soap. I’m using mine as hand soap bars and for that they’re nice.
I was given the Gift set as a Christmas present from relatives. Body spray shower Ge, and l deodorant. I would like to try the soap. I definitely get a strong Chocolate note from it 👍🏻
I was curious as you mentioned you are from arizona, if you've heard of a company called pheonix artisan accoutrements. They have many mens shaving products as well as bar soaps to go with all of there scents ! Id really love to hear your whole take on there soap quality. Anyways if i see this bar ill definitely give it a try ! I grew up as a kid with the axe body spray for dark temptaion so am very excited.

I found this soap to be beyond drying.

Mostly just water but sometimes I’ll use a dove white bar, or Tone cocoa butter bar.
How many other bars has Axe made?
