At this point we haven’t had one right restored since Bruen in California. Trying to stay optimistic but we’re in a worse position than before that case. This 11% tax is just the final kick in the balls.

What we need in California is a law… that any new law passed, which falls into a category that it possibly restricts or takes away any Constitutional right must be proven constitutional before it is allowed to go into effect.
As a twenty year veteran of the USMC I have a high understanding of the constitution since all those years I was prepared to give my life in defense of the constitution. The constitution limits the federal and state governments. "Shall not be infringed " is pretty straight forward. Any law that infringed is unconstitutional. The main purpose of the 2nd amendment was to arm the citizens equal to a standing army and to defend against a tyrannical government even if that governments is our own.

It’s one thing to be frustrated with the “speed” of the process when you’re young enough to have loads of time to wait, but it’s quite another to be frustrated, not young and not have decades to wait left in your lifetime. Yes, generations down the road may well be able to enjoy their rights eventually, but many of us won’t ever get that opportunity in Kommiefornia.

I can hardly wait to escape from this state. The sad thing is I am a third generation Californian and wanted to live here well into retirement. Not anymore. I don’t recommend that anyone even consider moving here or living here if you can get out.
