That scene in that bathroom climaxing at Joe telling Troy "No, Roger didn't hear voices. He heard a thump in the kitchen." was that most immersed I've ever been in a podcast style narrative.
The amount of prep for both the actual adventure and the 4 PC backstories, even blending them into something semi-coherent, it mind boggling. Couple that with Joe's ability to ad-lib the rest is nuts. But the true god-like part is the Roll20 usage for the clip board lol
Folks, I don't often post comments on RUclips sites- but just wanted to say that I'm just binge watching your playing of Impossible Landscapes now (July 2023) like it's a Netflix series or something. I'm bewitched. I'm a first generation role player from the late 70s and have been playing and running CoC since it was first available in England in 1981. My job is a lecturer (that's the UK version of professor) in English Literature specialising in the study of Gothic / fantastic fiction, so I'm pretty familiar with fiction by Lovecraft and Chambers and so on. With that in mind, I wanted to say - and I don't know if this is down to the original scenario, your playing / presentation of it, or a combination of the two - but it's been a very, very, very, long time since I've been so stunned, amazed and enthralled by a fantastic / horror narrative of any kind. Brilliant work! Thanks! Hope that doesn't sound too sycophantic.
@@ReadingAde The campaign is divided into four operations, so there are three other parts, after the night floors. So yeah, hopefully they take a break and come back for chapter two ?...
This series has single-handedly sold me onto Delta Green as a system. I have already gotten my players to look through the Quick Start rules and we're gonna be playing through a few short operations when our current game is over
Started watching most recent season, but came back to start fresh in S4. Thirty two+ hours in and some of the best Glass Cannon I’ve watched. You guys bring a lot of joy to people - thanks!
Amazing! Syd--that is some fantastic work with spot-on interaction with Roger, with the wedding cake, every damned thing! And Joe--making room for this, people falling apart need to make connections.
Guys, another great episode. Slowly getting my pathfinder group on the Delta Green Bandwagon because of GitT. We play every time there is a scheduling snafu with the pathfinder group (read: ALL the Time), it is a trip because the composition of my group's real life jobs are : Federal Agent, retired military interrogator, military weapons engineer, math and computer major at a prestigious Tech Institute, professional writer. My real life job outside DG handler? math teacher. Yeah it's a kick trying to out puzzle and out story that group.
Hahaha! This is amazing. Happy top hear you're playing DG though. Fumbling through the "reality" of it is, in a lot of cases, the essence of the fun of DG and the arguably the best part. Watching a math major and a computer major at a prestigious Tech institute hatch out their genius plan for how to dispose of a body or smuggle evidence out of a police precinct is just too fun.
Anyone else feel like Troy and Sydney are playing that romantic game of chicken like Chandler and Phoebe did, seeing who swerves first? Ha ha, this episode. Holy moly, Joe. You are a fantastic handler. The images you evoke you can only get here.
I love Murnau's character art. He's like a combination of Phil Spector and Joey Ramone! Usually, watching RP I see players do things that make no sense or forget things but this group absolutely nails their characters and even though Rodger is a bit of a loose cannon, everything they do and how they play off each other makes perfect sense. It also flows seamlessly together in such an organic way that I sometimes forget I'm watching people acting and I'm right there on the middle of the insanity with them. This group is so talented.
Oh damn, I guess I fell in love. This interlude between Vicky and Roger was so unbelievably good! Vickys emotional outburst was so heartbreaking and felt so real. Great job, Sydney! And hey, if you are ever fed up with your husband, just let me know! Vegas is just around the corner! ;-)
@GCN: Whatever happens in the future I would love to see more of Francis Mrema. Likewise, when Jerrod is running, Abubakar Salim is amazing. There are so many choice players to choose from and I would have to say Ross is the one I look for.
I’m not gonna get your hopes up because the Merch for GiTT (truck logo & Cumstone shirts) have had their run and sold out quickly. Re-release is unknown but here is the link to Merch: glasscannon.shop.redstarmerch.com/store/
"A small man gets out of the car.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another...."
If you take the plunge, NGWD Delta Green is the “pilot ep” then the next scenario is under NGWD Delta Green Pt 2-10, the it gets branded to Get in the Truck season 2-current (NGWD=New Game Who Dis.)
Idk feels weird to say but I was watching this yesterday when I found out about the situation with Trump. Idk why but I thought y’all might find that mildly interesting.
I had a co worker who only plays the top 80s hit over and over again so I don't care for the 80s anymore. (This also applies to top 50s 60s and 60s) just don't over play music.
"I think We're all bad people, we just gotta be, the most good bad there is". - Roger More Cumstone - Inspirational.
I can't stop picturing cumstone as Wreck-It Ralph now
Joe I think you might be the best handler I've ever seen.
I agree. He is insane. I think his helper dm is also really elevating his game. I think its McDermit his old gm from before the GCP

Thank you so much!
@TheGlassCannon once the strike is over, Joe should spec a Delta Green pilot
Man, idk what I'm gonna do once this season ends. It's by far my favorite actual play series right now and the whole crew is amazing.
This is a massive campaign. I think there are two other parts to it that take place years later. So at least two more seasons. Hopefully
@@ReadingAde The campaign is divided into four operations, so there are three other parts, after the night floors. So yeah, hopefully they take a break and come back for chapter two ?...
@@irregularjud They will, Joe explained they will do the whole book in seasons. Has to be 4.
joe and delta green are the greatest combination in the history of games and people that run them
Glad you are enjoying it!
Nice breath work from Roger--and just the kind of thing a serious combat vet knows.
This series has single-handedly sold me onto Delta Green as a system. I have already gotten my players to look through the Quick Start rules and we're gonna be playing through a few short operations when our current game is over
Nice!
Loved the episode, can't believe Vicky and Roger finally hooked up, Sydney and Troy did a really great job this episode.
Started watching most recent season, but came back to start fresh in S4. Thirty two+ hours in and some of the best Glass Cannon I’ve watched. You guys bring a lot of joy to people - thanks!
Thanks!
I imagine Bobby without his pills like Jack Black from Tropic Thunder, looking around and saying “Has anyone seen my jellybeans?!”
Joe: “what is your plan for tonight?”
Sydney: “get -“
Joe: “come to a decision?”
Sydney: “- blackout…oh”
Was peak comedy
Amazing! Syd--that is some fantastic work with spot-on interaction with Roger, with the wedding cake, every damned thing! And Joe--making room for this, people falling apart need to make connections.
Fantastic roleplay by Troy and Sydney. Bonding with a fellow agent on a dangerous misson. That's so many ways to get sanity damage in the future 😉

1:44:43 Lmao the Oasis Wonderwall 95' to perfect for Bobby freaking out!! "Cause maaaaybe...Delta green will be the one that saves meeeeeh"🎶

Session's brief; Roger drops his pants, everyone rolls a sanity check
I love the way Sydney is using rolls for her character's actions. This is my favorite actual play.
Ok. Weird time stuff. Time doesn't progress inside the Night Floors. This is acceptable.
Love the little bonding moment between Vicki and Roger.
I am here for Roger and Vicki continuing to make terrible decisions. :) Great ep!
Wow. This series. "Now That's What I Call Roleplaying." 💿🔥

oh my god I just realized the voice is saying things that Murnau has said before
How deep does the rabbit hole go?

Couldn't agree more. One of our favorite scenes ever. Bravo to Troy and Sydney!
Amazing episode! Love the Roger and Vicki development! You are all doing such an amazing job! Thank you!
Absolutely phenomenal. Love this cast, love this game, love the Naish.
Love YOU!
Watching this at 6am, through headphones, and "How's that going?" just made me laugh out loud.
This is legitimately incredible, I hate live plays usually but you guys are so good haha.
Another great episode. I never want this campaign to end. 😂

Haunted City comes back on Oct 12th via Twitch and RUclips Friday Midnight release like usual.
@@alexanderpimentel6178 Yay!
Good lord -- another amazing episode!
Rewatching this during S6 gives so much context to the Hegemony book...
Thank you Joe and All. Really Good as Always. Very good rp and those emotional moments Wow ! Thanks again.
The cover of Video Killed the Radio Star from the Wedding Singer was by the Presidents of the United States of America. GREAT cover.
Keeps getting better.
@39:22 i love Skid so much
Such a damn good show.
laughing for a minute straight after roger picks up the shotgun in a face towel
My favorite podcast right now. Considering getting a Cumstone t shirt if one exists.

You could always get a Duke Nukem shirt 😆
'Because he has an erection.' No context needed.
Fantastic use of cut scenes, Joe!
We're all shipping Roger and Vickie now right? #Rockie4ever
I live in Florida and I couldn't remember the storm y'all opened the show talking about 😅
43:06 Skid's character looks like Ric Ocasek from the Cars😆
Love the roleplay.
That intro still makes me want to take cover from a wraith
4-7-8 breathing Roger did is a real thing. I’ve helped others working on the psych ward.
Hovering pass the edge of my seat.
Bottoms up !
The broken glass injury Vicky got probably needs stitches.
I'd hate for Vicki to be fridged, but something terrible happening to her feels like Roger's origin story.
Cumstone hates porcelain
I love Skid's Megadeth background
Excellent as always
That was a top 5 Cliffy!!!!
dudes this is awesome! I publically plead with you all to give us a Nights Black Agents: Dracula Dossier game.
More people should watch this series and learn to roleplay
AWE VICKIE NOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭
Intense...... Did Roger for shadow blowing up building 8 on 9/11 ? was the inside job , Delta Green ?.........Dun Dun Dun.....spooky !
Cumstone needs to roll for impotence.
"A small man gets out of the car.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another.... and then another...."
are the season 1-3 of delta green up on youtube ? ive only found a debreifing session so far
Seasons 1-3 are on their Patreon

it should have been at the end Roger drops his pants and Vicki makes a luck roll
Black wind? Oh fuck!
I really want to know what troy was going to say about the Video Killed The Radio Star video, I can't find anything online about it.
Read the play! Read the play!
Pads or tampons are great for bleeding wounds. Roll for Kotex.
Feel that rhythm that algorithm
So, the daughter from the plane vision is Roger and Vikki's?
interesting, but there someone, for the Naish on discord or Reddit, said that that was Joe playing the long game with a deep Easter egg
Also ruclips.net/video/CFlIUUMzlz8/видео.html is where my mind went. Jason Sudeikis singing Get in the Trunk!
Who do you work for? ;)
