@@realtorque only thing I would change on mine are the m3 m4 mirror caps from auto I d in Essex , and possibly a stage 1 map, apart from that the cars just perfect, keep up the great videos, and congrats on getting your m2 you made a brilliant choice buddy.

After 3 tanks of fuel mine has averaged out at about 19.9 mpg in my OG M2. Its alot heavier on juice than the old m235i I used to own. This is with mostly town driving but rarely putting my foot down in it. If you think these would be anything like an m lite on fuel consumption you would be mistaken. They are a good 10mpg worst around town with careful driving.
Spot the area he's cleaned to stick the GoPro on 😂 Another great vid mate! Definitely got more mpg in my M140, that extra 8th gear on the motorway used to let it cruise below 2k revs. But I didn't find it was night and day difference
@realtorque - Very knowledgeable video thank you :) One question I have in mind as you have (or still) own(ed) both the M2 OG and the M2C and I wish to buy either an M2A (OG) or M2B (LCI) or an M2C (Competition). Which one of those three (or two) is the stiffest ride OOTB? (no mod, no tune, just Out of the Box, probably looking at sport+ Mode)?

Mine currently is doing 22.1 mpg with 80% mostly town/urban driving which is decent! I get 230miles per tank at £56 from empty, which lasts me just over a week. Only costing me about £150 a month in fuel. If you’re going to cover 12,000+ miles a year then they’re expensive. Drove to Cornwall from Manchester in October and got an unbelievable 37.2 average. (415miles) and didn’t drive like miss daisy (mostly 67mph) as when you climb over 75mph on the cruise you can expect to lose around 6/7mpg.
@@realtorque I got an m140i and having owned for 3 months I finally understand the m lite/m car differences. You mention best m car but on what basis compared to the m3 m4 m5? Cheers
@@frankwizard7496 thanks for the comment buddy, it’s just the overall feel of the car. In my opinion it looks the smartest, it’s an extremely well set up car (easy to drive quickly and put sideways, and very balanced) and has characteristics of its older brothers. It responsive, nibble, quick doesn’t have a hefty price tag like other m cars and gives you everything that you need. As well as not costing an arm and leg to maintain given it doesn’t have a proper m car engine. I think for £30k (which you can pick these up for) no other cars other the same amount fun, speed, comfort and ability all in one package. The m3/m4/m5’s are much heavier cars, and you can feel that straight away
@@realtorque appreciate the in depth answer! That all makes sense now. I haven’t driven any of the m cars but thankfully the m2 is closer to reality than say an m5. Cheers again pal👍🏼

For people wanting to compare a m140 to a comp m2, the fuel economy on the comp m2 is a good 10mpg worse. I’ve owned both before you ask
My dad says the same. The thing is, is with these m2’s it is so easy to get shit mpg 😂
