Whoa Mere!!! I just received your delicious matcha today (Sat 6/9)! There is absolutely no hype needed for your magnificent matcha- b/c *IT IS THE HYPE*. My personal take: Such wonderful and lingering cocoa notes, a bit nutty, exquisite and just the perfect amount of elevated umami, no astringency as an iced latte (I still need to try as Americano). So as an iced latte with a bit of dark agave and oatmilk, I definitely was still able to appreciate and enjoy these flavors as they never got lost- they lingered on my palate beautifully 🥰. I honestly do recommend giving Astrid Matcha a try just because it’s indubitably priceless. It’s refreshing and taste great simply put! As a side note, I’m also a fan of Ippodo, Breakaway, MatchaBar in the big bag as everyday, Nekohama, Marukyu Koyamaen to name a few. ❤️

Hello, I have a few questions.
1. What matcha is best for iced matcha lattes? Should it be from the first tea harvest or can it be a blend of 1 and 2?
2. Do you know this brand Moya Matcha? What do you think about?
3. Should I keep the opened matcha (in a 100g package) in the fridge or is it enough in the cupboard + additionally in an airless container?

3. Airtight container. You can keep it in a cupboard as long as you consume relatively quickly. Over 1 month I’d suggest in fridge and let it come to room temp to avoid condensation

I will be working hard to get delivery available to you worldwide! I know that it's really important to spread the matcha love to everyone so I'll let you know as soon as I can when I can figure out the logistics of worldwide shipping without having people pay $50 USD for shipping costs because nobody wants that!

Not trying to be negative.... but not sure Astrid is the best name for the company and whether you got test feedback for it before you chose it. For most people, the closest English word they know will be astringent. So in my mind, the tea brand has connotations of that unpleasant taste and mouth feel.
I appreciate your constructive feedback! I think you'll find that Okita Matcha is far from astringent and when you try it yourself, you'll see how smooth and complex this matcha is. 💚
