The Pathless is very high on my list, as is Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Also, FF VII had a dedicated PS5 remaster that even included new material. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
All of PS5 exclusives were great. Plus we had some previous games to be released on PS5 like Devil May Cry 5 , Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding which All of them were GREAT. PS5's First Year was Powerful. Let's enjoy the Second Year with it.
I think The Pathless should 100% make this list ! loved that game and I don't think it gets the recognition it deserves. Also DMC 5 Special edition was a meaningful upgrade and an awesome game. And Tales of Arise deserves more time in the spotlight it is fantastic.
For me Returnal was the best game on PlayStation this year. Sure Ratchet and Clank Rift apart is stunning but I felt on terms of gameplay there was not really anything new. So Returnal for me. Also honourable mention to Kena Bridge of Spirits.

Yall lost me with farcry 6. The second I head shot a guy with a sniper rifle that wondered around confused and didn't die til I shot him 3 more times I was done. Not to mention the missions feel like chores.

PS5 is ordered and finally on the way... haven't had a Playstation since my Destiny released time (2014) broke 3 months after having it - overheating from playing... Returnal is the ps5, love demon souls which is a remake so I cant pick that, only got halfway through RnC because one of the levels was bricking my console and needed the power plug removed so I was fearful for my ps5,got deathloop and sackboy on BF but have to finish FC6 1st

The personalities were striking because of the excellent voice acting. Stylish and smooth gameplay over a killer soundtrack. I was mostly in agreement with the list until the end, when the veto torpedoing made a mess of things. I have no idea how the one guy didn't like the story of Ittakestwo, and liked Marquette...dafuq? The sappy and overly efeminent male character of that story made me completely lose interest and I stopped playing. Personally, GoT:DC should be top 5 and yall dropped the ball with no Kena and The Pathless.

For me I'm done with activision, ubisoft, and ea. Basically if they release the same game every year, it's a hard pass.
I loved Ubisoft's AC Valhalla. They put so much effort into that game. Story is really fun.

Ps5 doesn't really have much games. Most of them are cross gen but 2022 and beyond is super exciting especially Spiderman and God of War 2.
