But this song is one of the five songs produced with Jack Antonoff (from Bleachers and Fun., who produces for many artists like Lorde, Lana Del Rey, St Vincent). I'm especially obsessed with his work with St Vincent and Lana (even if I have mixed feelings about Lana herself...)

@@JacobRestituto ikr, I haven’t heard this theory from anyone else on the internet and the 13 Taylor Swift podcast just shared it on this week’s episode and it was super exciting!
I think the structure of the song aligns with her career and the lyric “my tears ricochet”. The song has a long slow build up (her career before label split) then her being “dead” which is when the music drops out only to quickly build again which is her comeback (ricochet).

This is about her previous label, Scott Borchetta (or however his name is spelled) and he sold her catalogue to Scooter Braun without telling her. Also, she always told Scott not to sell her work or sell himself out to Scooter. She hates Scooter with a passion and Scott was so bruised by her leaving that he did what she told him not to do. Also, she left her previous label because they wouldn't let her buy her master back, they said, you can buy 1 album with 1 new album ... which doesn't make sense and she'd be stuck in a cycle. So she left and bruised Scott's ego.
"I can go anywhere I want, just not home" -- the home where she wrote all of her songs, the memories she shares there with Scott, who basically exiled her, because he wouldn't let her buy her own music, her own work.
"you will miss me in your bones" Taylor was the one who really held up Big Machine, she kept them going in a way.
"I can go anywhere I want, anywhere I want, just not home" is one of my favorite lyrics. Unfortunately Jacob missed that one!

Love your insights and reactions :) is there a chance you can maybe react to Taylor's series of videos "making of a song"? during the recording of Lover and reputation albums Taylor recorded herself making the album during studio sessions and writing the songs herself and I think it's a great insight as to the artist she is. she's showing how she made songs like 'Delicate' 'Getaway Car' 'Lover' 'The Man' 'I Did Something Bad' with Max Martin and Shellback and Jack Antonoff and Joel Little. I think you'll really dig it.
