If you ever want to take it off the stand and carry it around in order to follow the operator and not be somewhere off in the corner, I recommend 1) the Wooden Camera neck strap with 4 attachment points and 2) why not mount the transceiver *below* the monitor to lower the center of gravity.
Good point with the receiver. I'm just used to getting artifacts regardless of the receiver, so I try to put it as high as I can. I'll look into wooden camera's neck strap. Having it "handheld" has always been a plan for this project! :)
Very very cool. I like your wireless video system. I need to upgrade mine. My wireless is too laggy. Although going tethered with cable, with security so you don't damage the ports, is not too bad. Your setup looks great. Although, you might want to try swapping that wireless FIZ with a Tilta wireless right-hand grip. It might be a better balance. I would like to make a rig like this for in the studio with a larger monitor or a TV on a rolling stand. I feel with anamorphic, even our monitors need to be bigger. Or maybe I just can't see like I used to. Cheers
Thanks for your great video. I am interested in buying the dji transmission together with the nucleus m for focus pulling. Dji says their system has 70ms delay. Do you think this is good enough for pulling focus? Thanks
"Tito Ferrandas out". This entire time he's been saying his name, and I thought it was some sort of german greeting. I like the video, but I need a smaller way to pull focus. I've been thinking about mounting the Tilta side focus handle with NPF battery to the back of a suitable monitor/wireless system (and accompanying nato side handle).
Hahahha, no German, just me. :P Using the setup you described would reduce size indeed, but I need the extra functionalities and industry standards present in the bigger handset for the M.
like being able to swap the acrylic rings for pre-market ones with lens information, mapping A-B points, control over focus and iris, that kind of thing.
Beautifull ff station. Maybe some day. Hy buddy I want ask to you for a sankor 16f that are for sale, but has an small broke on one corner at the rear glass. Can it be an issue? Greatings
I watched the whole thing ha! Surprisingly soothing and therapeutic. I like these build videos 100%
Enjoyed watching this episode.
Pretty different from usual Anamorphic stuff but very thoughtful video.
Thank you!
Thanks.... I'm also considering how to build a nice follow focus module... so this helps a lot!
This was an awesome build man!

This aspect ration is crazy on a 16:10 screen 😂

Would you expect your 1st AC to provide the focus pulling rig and EQ?
Lots of times I've seen ACs bring their stations. More of the monitor itself, less frequently the actual follow focus.

@@AnamorphicOnABudget Industry standards? I'd like to know more about these standards.

What Vmount battery do you use?
I'm using some old Wondland but just switched to a pair of FXLion Two.

smallhd battery makes it lighter
Paying a premium to *eliminate* wiggly rigs will add years to your life.
To illuminate? Hahaha. I don't want any more wiggle anywhere. I've had enough wiggles in my life and I'm ready to live longer.
@@AnamorphicOnABudget Ha! Fixed!
Go budget station( n
If you replace the monitor but keep the concept used here, most parts can be swapped out and matched to a cheaper monitor. hahaha
SmallHD jumping on the covid hype train and raising the prices hundreds of dollars this summer on all their stuff says alot about their company.
In 2022?
@@AnamorphicOnABudget yep. Inflation?
Suspicious! I'm looking at the price for the 702 Touch now and it's about the same I paid last year...
Sorry about my inglish
