This is a REALLY GOOD year for Square Enix with a lot of BIG games like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PS5, Final Fantasy XVI for PC, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake and this AMAZING looking Romancing Saga 2 for Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, PS4 and Nintendo Switch WOW even for PS4 and Switch what's so nice! I've never played or even heard about Romancing Saga games and haven't played Romancing Saga 1 should I really need to play Romancing Saga 1 before this is it connected to this story or can I start with Romancing Saga 2? I know I REALLY WILL play Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven on Nintendo Switch and Square Enix REALLY KNOWS how to make AWESOME JRPG games this is reason why Square Enix is one of my FAVOURITE video game makers in the World of Gaming and thank you Nintendo Life for this gameplay video of Romancing Saga now I'll see how this JRPG's gameplay looks defienitily i'm INTERESTED about this battle system! 😮❤

I was interested when I saw the trailer at the last direct. Watching the gameplay, it is reminiscent of Dragon Quest 11 (which I am finally finishing). Looking forward to buying this on sale after I catchup with my backlog!

You can play the original romancing saga 2 remastered, it is 2d, but it's a snes game, so I would recommend the remake if you want an experience with more qol improvements

Leveling up in SaGa games will give you new abilities, but stat wise won't give you much since enemies level up with you to maintain the challenge.
Higher stats can specialise your units, for example having a magic user with high MAG and Fire stats from repeat execution can give you a adventage.

Dragon Quest XI isn't a remake it's a new game that just so happens to have a 2d mode

There is a physical version in Asia, has English language.
