That is awesome! I just got my temporary residency visa there last week and got my Panamanian residency earlier this year. I want OPTIONS outside the USA! 😂
I've been a resident of Mexico for 4 years now. It was the best decision I ever made. I have no intentions of returning to the states. I am living my best life right here. My mental, physical, and spiritual health is better. Blessings in your journey. 🙂
I’m a single mother of twin boys and a little girl. We will be relocating out there in November. I feel you with that 2024 election, we are approaching uneasy times in America for sure.
Hi Lady👋🏽 ! I just bought the book. Thanks for allowing me to contribute to your journey. I pray you and your daughters are well. 💜☀️ As for myself I’m not sure what my next move is but I’m feeling things out. So I’m grateful for the book.
My name is Toni so Everytime you say I showed up as a better Toni, Toni this, Toni that it's like me hearing thoughts I will have about myself in the future after obtaining Mexican residency. Signs that I need to move there have been popping up everywhere. This is one of them.💜
Listennnnn. Honestly, right before I left, I would get very vivid signs that I needed to leave ASAP. All I'm saying is don't wait a minute more than you absolutely have to. Time is precious. I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart ❤️
Just got the book. Im on my way to Puerto Escondido in 2 mo. Gonna look around in Costa Chinca and CDMX during our layover coming back to the states. Would be nice to link up with fam there.
It’s interesting that the least protected, most educated demographic knows that things are going to pop off around November and we need alternatives. My 1st choice was CDMX and I convinced my husband to explore it, but due to the water crisis, Portugal and Panama are now on the top of my list. Good luck to you in Merida. You and Helisi (not sure if I spelled her name correctly convinced me to get Mexican residency. ❤
That's amazing 👏 I'm so happy for you. I absolutely loved Panama. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with either. If you are not feeling one, you can always visit the other. Mexican Residency is a must because it's relatively easy to obtain. I will be working on my second residency in the next year. Im thinking either Portugal, Panama, or Costa Rica. It's important to have options.
My kids are grown but I think it’s great to have other options. I recently got my residency because of the inflation, lack of affordable housing, taxes and other issues that we have currently been enduring in the US. I have always felt safe in the burbs where I live. I don’t think the election will change the financial status of the US anytime soon because the damage is too deep. So see you soon Mexico!
@@dianadiana9574 Yes. I have seen many people try to be an island onto themselves and avoid other foreigners and it doesnt work to well for them. You will need to be plugged in with people from your country, it is difficult trying to do it alone here.
@@malachibenyisrael4621 yes I definitely believe you, I know some people are very private, but they have to get out of that zone and go out and meet people, on another RUclips channel I was watching, they said the people were moved to Mexico, And stay to there self don’t go out and mingle , Stay home don’t make no friends and end up moving back to United States, So hopefully someone see your post and make friends 😊
Hi Toni, I tried to get the ebook but I only get buffering also tried consult and buy a coffee nothing is working on my end any suggestions? I respect your honesty about moving abroad. I love Cartess Ross but his price is too expensive and I decided not to go with him, I understand his mission however those leaving for financial reasons are having financial reasons to get to Mexico but anyway would love to hear any suggestions you have need that ebook!!!
Amazing for you. My apologies for the late response. Be flexible ❤ Understand things are not gonna go exactly as you planned. A no, is not a no forever... Delay is not a denial. Reach out to those who have already experienced it. I wish you all the best❤❤
Toni, you have great advice I feel for not only Black Americans but for Gay Americans as well. My husband and I are in Merida now getting our residency as our “insurance policy “. Thanks for your content and take care!
I am currently in Portugal scouting the country. I recently scouted Mexico and plan to pursue residency by end of year, heading to South Africa early next year to explore the country to determine if I want to pursue residency.
This video is right on time. This has been my sentiments exactly as a single mom raising a black son! My family has rhier heads in the sand so im sving my son and myself.I cant savw them but at least I've given them the information. We are getring closer and closer on coming back to Mexico. I have a few more business things to handle here in Houston then we're outta here!
Don’t agree with your view on Trump, but its ok. Everyone doesn’t have to agree with one another. However, I do agree with your take on propaganda. It’s used against anyone who doesn’t benefit them.
Absolutely. We don't have to agree on everything. You know what O learned.... That everyone is on theor own path of realization and that's okay. Thanks so much for your perspective ❤ We all need perspective 😊
Hello again (from Canada, for now). Is your home in centro? We’re renovating a home in the San Sebastian neighbourhood. We’ll be back in July. The reason I’m asking, your videos from home ALWAYS have the songs of birds. Love it. Keep the videos coming please. We might be a white Canadian couple, but we love how you think (and care) about people.
Thanks so much for your comment. I truly love everyone. I always worry that other races will get discouraged from tuning in. So I'm so happy that you understand that is certainly not my intention. Thanks for watching.
@@blackmomabroad I promise, I won’t keep talking about this, but the story about your children in an America school still haunts us. I won’t get political (too much) but you couldn’t be more right, after this upcoming election, I think all sane Americans should exit the country.
Thank you for this video. I plan on leaving AmurKKKAH next March for sure. I am having my passport renewed then I will get over to Mexico to get my residency in the next few months.

I'm sorry, I don't understand your comment. This applies to black women who want to explore Mexico as an option to live and raise a family if they so choose. If this doesn't work for you then that's perfectly fine. Always do what is best for you and your family.
I’ll be in Mexico in 2 weeks to renew my temp visa for 3 years and planning on moving spring 2025. I’ve been working with a tutor learning Spanish.
That's amazing!!! Knowing Spanish really helps❤
