“Away From Here” is my favorite song off of “Pray For Mojo” from Mustard Plug. It was reissued on green vinyl in the past. I have an original US pressing of it but glad to see it getting reissued with better artwork.
Yeah, I really love the updated artwork for it.
Mustard Plug might be the only thing I’ll grab this week. Maybe that Smoking Popes
Bon Jovi will be my only pick up. Love their new song Legendary
I'm interested to hear how it sounds. I know Jon has had a lot of vocal issues in the last couple of years and had to undergo vocal cord surgery. I'm hoping it doesn't sound too doctored like the last Ozzy album did.
Loverboy live in 82 available with a dvd.Also in cd with Blu-ray.
I went to high school with the Popes. Seen them hundreds of times, just saw them last weekend actually. If you get a chance, go see them, they are on tour

I haven't been impressed by many of the releases of late. I have scaled back my vinyl purchases. The last ones I made were from Rhino for the Hi Fidelity series for Black Sabbath and Devo which has still not shipped. I am spending more on live concerts now. I think they have run out of ideas on what to put out on vinyl. The Tina Turner I have in blue it was a Rhino exclusive 4 years ago. Nothing new about it. Just very blassaie. Once the PF clear record was released nothing has been impressive.

Only one tempting me this week is the Alice Coltrane, as I'm a big fan. Not a super accessible album but one that grows on you with repeated listens. I'll pick up the Tina Turner at some point as I don't have any of her stuff and can probably make do with just a compilation.
I remember the first time I listened to that Coltrane album and it was not what I was expecting, but it's really grown on me and now some of the parts I hated at first are some of my favorites.

Depends on where you are looking to go. Some of my favorite places are Dearborn Music, Rock City Music in Livonia, Encore Records in Ann Arbor, Found Sound in Ferndale, Flipside Records in Berkley, and Culture Clash Records and No Noise Records in Toledo.
