Hey there. Just discovered your channel 👍👍 I guess I’m going to have to get on Discogs and lookup my collection. Most of my records were bought in the late 70’s and throughout the 80’s. And yes, it’s full of punk and goth 🖤🖤
My most expensive album so far lol is Psychedelic Pill by Neil Young and Crazy Horse. I paid 175 bucks on eBay. Worth every penny. Keep up the great work Nick.
I've never done the exercise, so not sure, but one that surprised me was GVF's debut EP Black Smoke Rising which I have a copy of. Saw it on the wall at a record store for $100.
I was a little surprised how much that GVF album is going for online, especially since all four of those tracks are on From the Fires and can be picked up for a decent price.
I still regret giving away my Pink Floyd Animals that you just showed. My brother did a lot of favors for me and showed interest in it, so I gave it to him. I repeatedly get the urge to play it though. At least it's in the family and I can play it when I visit him.
Mine is a triple threat of 3 that are probably my most cherished possessions i own, which are: Led Zeppelin 2 RL Pressing, Mad Season Above orginal 1995 pressing and finally probably my most favorite album of all time an Original Beatles Mono white album from the uk and its in VG+.
My most expensive LP in my collection is my first press of Van Halen 'Balance' $320 and right behind that is the first press of Mad Season 'Above' $300 1st press Alice In Chains 'SAP/Jar Of Flies' $180 to name a few....nice top 10 Nick BTW!
My most expensive album is Miles Davis Kind of Blue original pressing six eyes Columbia that I bought at a thrift store back in 1987 for $1.00 One US dollar.
I really don’t know if Dee Gees will get a reissue. Their “Medium Rare” RSD title from like 2012 or 2013 has never been reissued and that one was fetching all kinds of stupid prices over the years. But who knows. Also, I’ve always wanted to know how you choose the records on your wall behind you?
I’m sure it won’t at this point, but I thought there was a good chance it might get reissued in the first several months after RSD. As well as it sold I think they easily could have sold another 2-3k copies of it. My wall is typically just recent stuff I’ve been listening to, or albums I plan on listening to soon.
Linkin Park - One More Light Live (RSD) - $144.92 Mike Shinoda - Post Traumatic (Limited Edition version) - $139.47 Serj Tankian - Orca Symphony No. 1 - $99.72 Fort Minor - The Rising Tied (RSD) - $115.00 Are some of mine most expensive records
I also have the One More Light Live album. Being Linkin Park, you would have thought they'd do more than 4000, especially with Chester dying that year, so I guess it's not surprising it's gone up so much.
According to discogs it turns out that i've got a UK 1971 original edition of Pink Moon by Nick Drake in very very good conditions priced at a max of 1100 euro. I'm selling it at 700. Anyone Interested?

My nearest record store is 1.5 hours away too. Don't get there too often!

My most expensive album is a 12" single. Rhett & Link sing Merle. It goes for $200 and I fortunately have 2 copies.
My top one is kind of funny, not one I would have thought of immediately:
Buffy The Vampire Slayer: "Once More, With Feeling" - $193.89
My most expensive album is Miles Davis Kind of Blue original pressing six eyes Columbia that I bought at a thrift store back in 1987 for $1.00 One US dollar.
Nice!!
