i was your polar opposite in school, talkimg way too much, and when i wasn't suposed to. i'm still kinda like that. i can meet someone i knew years ago and barely recognize on train and talk to them the entire ride. only bad thing is that i still feel empty after that. I catch myself socializing wthout socializing, just talking at like family events and stuff without caring a single bit about the topics and just being "alone" wuth my thoughts just with people around and this may be bad. also i really enjoy your recent 5 am (for me) talking about life with beta in the backgroung content
I really feel this, I was in the same way, for me it was that I got a retail job, nothing fancy but I went from talking no one to talking to hundreds of people a day, really help my confidence. for that kind of thing you at first have this mask where your just saying what you think someone else would say in the situation but by the end your mask is gone and your 100% yourself. the positive spiral is so true, i was stressing the whole week abt all my deadlines. have a lab report due that we haven't started yet, have to make a presentation that we also haven't started yet and have to start doing my programming project (as you guess, i haven't started). Anyway we started with the lab and it went smoothly after a bit of a bump and after that all the stress just went away cus i realized that all my tasks really weren't that bad and i just started all of them and went allong smoothly.
2:13, fuck man, this felt relatable despite that specific scenario never happening to me. Why do some teachers have to give students so much anxiety over little stuff
Some teachers just have no tact or ability to deal with nervous students. I think they assume every student who doesn't do their work is just slacking or being disrespectful.

If i didnt meet this kid in 2nd grade i wouldn't have my current friend group. I rarely talk to him now but the people I met through him and the people I met in 8th grade changed my life.
